Does your mummy know you're using such words, Rolf?

Hasn't it gone a little too far? Off-topic. I would delete the spam and ban Rolf forever.

It's pathetic, not funny. :-\

Do not tell me to shuddup? I will also assassinate you Tuomas and the Skurwy.

Is there more than one Skurwy?

Shuddup, Rolf!

I can't tell you as it depends only on your needs. It's just a GUI after all.

I would place a screenshot with all GUIs opened to show how it looks in game. A few items displayed in the inventory would be helpful as well.

But it isn't even a goat, Afflict. ;)

In Warcraft III you have some Satyr units: http://www.battle.net/war3/neutral/satyrs.shtml.

I don't know what to criticize here?

It's just a save/load/quit dialog box with some new layout. Not the whole GUI.

Well... if I had to watch it for a few minutes to understand what it's saying, it cannot be a good logo.

Isnt it a BG for a game or something? So in game it will look bigger...

Of course it is but as for logo it should be more legible.

Who's that Babel Fish?

Great theme, Stefano! Let me post the first entry. Guess who?

67x116 pixels, made in Paint (4~5 hours).

Strike Ctrl+F5 if you can't see it.

I'm sure there is a place for a dark character on every planet. I don't even call him and still don't have any idea. Maybe Blorgh?

Shog verdhn infrg s yorg! (Hope you like it!)

If you need to know something about colors, here: http://www.practicalpainting.com/paint_colors.htm and here: http://www.colorfaq.com/, http://www.colorfaq.com/color_relationships.htm you may find some interesting informations. Although it focuses on traditional painting, most of these questions are still essential when you're doing pixel art and digital painting in overall. It's always good to start from the base or at least get to know something about it.
#113
You mean the animation compo? ;)

Kinda wrong use of dithering / shading. It makes this guy a little too messy. Although I can see an improvement, ProgZ used much better color scheme. You should go for it.

I like how you're improving on overall pixelart during the last few months.

Is there any official website of that MMF? Where I can download it?

edit: Whoops, I found it myself, www.clickteam.com. Sorry.

Which version did you use, Bernie, to make your Kitty game? I'm just curious.

Whoa... grotesque themes.

Ok, so now when you gained the next level of experience, it's the high time to read something about colors, color schemes, perspective and all that HARMONY of symmetry. That's what your art lacks. Not to be mean, but to get much better results you should as well find some particular MS Paint tutorial and got to know how to use it in a proper way.

;)

Change the position of the head-on-a-stick and place it at the foreground (right bottom corner) to fill the empty green area. Probably you will have to make it a little bigger. If you don't want to, add some random grass brushes here and there (just as bricks in the wall).

This background rocks, I really like it!

Quote from: yodaman11111 on Thu 06/04/2006 00:25:33yep she is. But why do you say you love my characters yet you say you see no improvement???

Search for a word "sarcasm" in your dictionary.

Quote from: KhrisMUC on Thu 06/04/2006 01:53:25I say ban everyone who does it. Without explanation.

I'm posting here for a year but still DO remember the "better times". Once there was much less threads like that, competitions were free of useless posts and so on. It won't change, KhrisMUC, because there's no bans on these boards and everyone is allowed to enter. That's why most of newbies piss on rules.

"Please, bring back the death penalty!"

Continuing the characters topic, make the BASE first (one for woman, one for man), which you will be using as a reference for every single character, THEN add the details. And follow the suggestions of others. I am not saying you work will aways SUCK, it won't if you begin to listen and watch carefully.

Well-said, Relentless.

Ã,  Ã, I love your characters!

Sorry but I didn't notice any improvement, to be honest. Hey, you threw this work into the Critics Longue as you want to make it better and improve your skills ast once, right? Probably. But ask yourself first if you really want it. Why do you ignore other users' commentaries? They just want to help you. Hmm... if you even can't (or don't want to) make use of a tip, sorry but I have no idea of why you are here.

CL isn't a place where you just can throw some junk and request others to do the work for you.

Personally I'm enough of useless threads like that; reading them is truly exhausting. It's all pointless as well for you, because as I see you don't know what do you really want. Next time better think twice before starting a topic, please.

Ã,  Ã, Does this chick is supposed to be laying on sofa?

Quite good idea but this image looks like scanned. Make it "pixelated" and post in a bigger version.

Have a nice stay!

Hahah, I completely forgot about that.

Unfortunately, by zooming the map into the area where I live you can see only some little interesing fields. :)
