Nothing.

I'm really curious how the whole game will look like.

Very original style!

There was the Mt. Teapot in SML3, just a digression. :)

Hmm,

a quote from www.blizzard.com:

"May 9, 2006
Live-Action Warcraft Movie Coming to Big Screen
Blizzard Entertainment and Legendary Pictures today announced that they will develop a live-action film set in the Warcraft universe. Legendary Pictures has acquired the movie rights for the game universe, and both companies are now focused on translating the Warcraft experience to the big screen. Read more about it in this press release."

I don't know.

and Doom!

Blizzard? They won't do that, like they never did Warcraft Adventures.

Quote from: Afflict on Thu 11/05/2006 20:33:57Anyway anybody checked out my avatar yet?

It's a way better than the last one, Afflict, and that's all I can say about it.

Where's the catch?

So don't do anything,

or post an announcement in that thread.

That reminds me of my first background!

Speaking of Vikings...

Hmm, what do you mean by a big viking ship, earl Ishmael?

I, Skurwy of Hordaland and the Styrsman of Ye Blue Hird, am reporting:

We have not less than dozen such drakkars, fully loaded with mead (you haven't drunk any better, I swear), plus an army of about 2500 men-at-arms (including berserkers and Danish mercenaries from Skåne) and we are ready to set sails!!1

AGS Bar? Ok, I'm gonna buy a piece of land, trade the prisoners with Squinky and use them as the manpower to build our own Valhalla, where the party never ends!

Oh, no! The www.christopia.com it is taken by theWorld Trade Christian Association.Ã,  :'(
Now what?

Now we should think of a completely new alias, our, and only our, citizen Krysis, via www.christopia.cht, right?

Com is bad, because it means commercial and we don't need any nor are a company!

I've just changed mine... ;) together with the avatar.

If I find something worth writing, I'll put it there.

edit: Afflict, I thought that 3805 is like 14/88.HeilHitler!, a mysterious magic number or something!

3~C, 8~H, 0~?, 5~E. Hmm... No, in fact, that way it would mean nothing.

BTW, my profile # is 4000! ;D

Quote from: Rincewind on Wed 10/05/2006 07:49:42Myeah, you have a point about the originality. But then one might argue whether originality is the most important thing...

It doesn't matter if it's just a demo, but a bit of creativity would make the design better.

QuoteYeah, it's taken by me, but to be honest, that photo is perhaps two years old, and I chose it because it was the only decent forest-related photo I had on my computer...

At last you live in Sweden, don't you? There are a lot of forests, lakes and a few fjords to take photos' of.

QuoteHeh, well, I can't really change their name for them, I'm afraid... Heh.
And "Krå" does sound a bit wierd of you say it in swedish, too, so. ;) (I think that the name Kraa comes from a b-horror movie, actually...)

Okay, I was only asking. Yea, it does sound a bit weird, but being honest, I thought there's no real difference between aa and å. :)

Keep up the work! Good luck!

Wow! Some time ago I was into the scandinavian folk/metal scene and I can tell you it's very, very good (as for my taste). I like the instruments used in that project, and of course the band itself. Six chicks? Nice!

But.

Placing a forest on the front cover isn't an original idea. I would think of something different as almost every folk / folk-metal or metal band has the forest on it's demo cover. Is that photo yours? Take a few more with different composition and choose the best one!

Logo. It's the first thing that come to mind when you think of the band, so you should work on it. Take a pencil and try some curved shapes, not just write it with an existing font.

Kraa... why not Krå? It would look better. :) Oh, by the way... what does that mean exactly?

You should change the position of both logo (like ManicMatt did) and the playlist. The current look is rather uninteresing. Work on layout, as the back cover surely needs some!

I would also leave the band photo without any filters. The carved stone (or what the hell they call that) thing doesn't look good in that case. You should give listeners a chance to see what they do look like.
edit: Ah, sorry. I didn't noticed the 3rd edit. Yea, now it looks a way better!

At last, take a look at the Łukasz Jaszak's cover designs and take some example. That guy rocks!

Since my last post here, I've been working on the anthem but ended up with something like that, completely improvised on a lame guitar:

click! ;D

Thou shalt rise the cup of blue / where the magical shining brew, the lyrics say.

Seriously, I'm going to finish the whole thing just after the exams. I will change the music theme and probably use some medieval chords, like the true bard should. Some parts of the lyrics will be also in Latin (I've learned it for a year), so it's going to be epic as hell!

Hail!

AYBABTU was universal and funny, a few years ago...

Hey, he didn't steal it, just borrowed without asking! :)

For me it's OK, I believe you, but not so long ago we had a guy who screwed the copyrights and ended up badly. Take an example and don't do that next time.

lo_res_man has the point. The amount of that special points (or "cash" if you want) should be displayed next to the title of the game and all of them (games) might be also sorted by "popularity" in the right category.

It could be even better than the rating system (based on answering to some questions) or awards (given from time to time), as everyone would be able to see the number just after the title.

Ok, I had this cool idea. for every post you make, you get AGS cash (like 10 or 20), [...]

Maybe not for posts but games?

Okay, so I vote Krysis, as his sprite seems the most functional and is also well-drawn, at least for me.
