hey dan, i skipped a lot of pages so that i wouldn't completly spoil the game for myself but for what i can tell, this game looks awesome. i can't wait until you finish it.

grapics dont fit together, so it doesnt atract me do download.

sadly enough, same here. if i may add some c&c, theatrx, why don't you try to lower the color count in the backgrounds to give a slight cartoonish look.

for me, it would be frank the farmhand.

ever since i've been playing adventure games, i've always admired at how great sierra draws their backgrounds. i'm still amazed at them even though they'd be considered crap by a lot of people today. does anyone know where you can get tutorials that show you how to draw backgrounds in the style of sierra games like king's quest vi? i did try googling if you have to ask. any help is appreciated.

i have the exact problem as well. i go to other message boards and i've heard the same problem.

i like to set my brown banana in the sun for about an hour so that it will get warm and juicy. after that, i eat the entire brown banana nip by nip for maximum enjoyment..

i agree with donb, it wouldn't hurt to decorate your background with "scary stuff" like a full suit of armor with a axe, you know, castle decorations.

i use photoshop and i find that the best remedy to create a night version of a day picture is to add a new layer, flood fill the layer with a dark blue, put the layer's blending mode as multiply and that's it. you could probably do the same thing with the gimpy.

My question is, can I pull the tricks on my N64 (currently put away) that he did on this emulator (like using the bunny to walk through doors) and the butt trick to go up the infinite stairs and such?

there's no reason why you can't. the only thing that an emulator does is loading the memory dumped from an n64 cartridge.

my favorite game in the compo was 24 hours. i liked it because the game forced you to not be idle.

This had to be some kind of bot running on an emulator or something.Ã,  It's a hoot to watch, but I find it hard to believe a human being could do that.Ã,  I am willing to be proven wrong

mandarb, it's been ten years since super mario 64 was first released. i think that by now some people will have mastered the game. also, if you look very closely, you'll see that the guy messes up sometimes.

and it would take years to make a scripting bot for super mario 64.

grape, you're beginning to piss me off. and quit insulting monkey island graphics, it just makes you look retarded. if you didn't know, the backgrounds in monkey island  took many months to make.

here's my suggestion, if you want your backgrounds to look good, google vanishing point. after that, practice. if your room doesn't use some sort of perspective, very few people will want to play your game. it's a logic based fact, accept it.

You seriously accept this as a background? And I dispute that art is not as important as the comedy. If someone wanted comedy acompanied by something that looks like the decauss button was just hit they would take phsycodelic drugs and watch standup.
