Not sure if anyone's seen this before, but I just came across it.

Just watch it skidding on the ice at 0:35 and again at 1:24. SkyNet is closer than you think.

Amazing how much that thing evolved from that early prototype:

Even greedy selfish revisionist sell-out George Lucas allows fans to create stories in his universe(as long as they are non-profit). Making it legal and supporting the fans is the only way to go if you want to have some degree of control over it and not alienate your fans. The author can always declare what is cannon and non-cannon and the fans should respect the authors rights and not make money with their fanwork. The only case in which it would be ok for Rowling to sue the guy is if he sold the stuff without her permission. If it is a free downloadable lexicon I don't see anything wrong with it.

Thanks InCreator. Yeah, I made all the cubes myself and then used them to build the rough model of the ship to get all the proportions right. I used gimp for that.

As far as the contrast issue: Like I said the ship is going to be seen on a planet most of the time so it's more appropriate to make it less contrasty. However in the first issue of my webcomic(which I made the ship for) it's flying through space, and I used a version with more contrats for that, as you guys suggested. The reason I concentrated on the brighter version here is because it's the basic picture seen more often than the "in space" version, so I wanted to get that right in the first place.

Thanks Traveler but

EDIT 2: also I should mention that the ship is going to be landed on a planet with atmosphere, hence the rather low contrast.

Babar: I had the lights brighter but they stood out too much so I just made them affected by the shading so they blend in better with the rest of the ship.

Oliwerko: I'm quite satisfied with the general design of the ship as it is. The design is inspired by the ships from Homeworld. Also I think "look more like a spacecraft" is pretty vague, considering the different types of space ships we have seen in all sorts of sci-fi movies and games. I appreciate your suggestions though.

MashPotato: Yeah, I definetly have to add some shadows. This is one of the obvious things I missed. AA will be fixed too. Thanks for the edit.

I'm going to add a large window in the front part to indicate where the bridge is. I'm also going to add some writing and perhaps a logo if I come up with a nice design. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the comments.

Stupot: the ship is as symmetrical as it gets.
