I don't know what to do next. Current problems: 1) I know I need water but nothing to transport it. The only idea I have is using the pot which the chef won't let me take.

Glad you can finish it but according few users and I encountered bug as you probably saw in hint area of forums

Downloaded again, this time I could start and finish it. It is a nice game with good puzzles (clear tasks, but you have to think twice how to perform them), loved it!

I replayed game and each options inside spoiler I restarted game, with or without getting or reading (hint book) is not an issue, bug only happend inside soving first option:

1) Solving Rum thing and without solving tattoo and speaking with roger, extra oil dialog does not show = bug
2) Solving tattoo and as well blowing whistle (near roger or on deck), without solving Rum thing and speaking with roger and extra oil dialog show up, no bug here at this point

Done same as seen above 2nd option, extra oil up is when we ask roger where it is. But if we don't don't ask right away, initial hair dialog is lost (bug) when solving rum puzzle beforehand. I suspect the bug happens when solving rum thing

To answer your concern of WHAM getting tattoo book or not, isn't an issue as we can solve tattoo thing even without getting that book, obviously it's wrong. I think following future implementation is best

I think it's a bit more complex than just that. In WHAM's YouTube, it took him a while to "look" at Roger. That shows up the initial dialogue option about the hair gel.



The next dialogue option doesn't show the where Roger last saw it option.



It brought an end to the game for WHAM, since WHAM couldn't even start that quest. I realize that just looking at Roger is part of the issue, but I think something else may be wrong, here. Once again, I have not had the problem despite my many attempts at trying to bust it.

Just noticed that, in WHAM's video, he does not yet have the tattoo book. I'll have to see if that's the issue? Back in a while, if I can find the time to check it out.

Replayed the game, to see if it's possible to complete doing the hair gel bit last. Worked for me. Need to look at Roger to get the dialogue option for the hair gel. Then, it becomes a search for who has the gel, and how to color it black.

My only negative observations are a spelling error involving than instead of thanks, and the position of Jacob's views between normal and startled dialogue.

Entire observation isn't on bug or problems just on dialog improvements but it's to you to decide:

Ok, Shaman did mentioned seeing but again I solved that area without seeing her.

Therefore, if enter that forest without speaking with witch after speaking with Shaman and by landing on first warning "I start getting tire...", perhaps by adding "Maybe Shaman is righ to speak with witch before"

If already spoken with her and landing on same warning, by adding "I have a feeling I may need speaking with her again"

Entire ending dialog assume I share her name to all but I only share that with tribe chief. when meeting with percival I simply started using "Hands up..." dialog.

After all it was percival that started conversation by mentioning her name during end dialog

There is no problem in solving the maze without talking to the person who first gives the instructions. I already took it into account and no bug or anything similar appears.

Are you sure Skye doesn't mention her name in any of the dialogue options? In any case, I don't think there is any problem.

Yes, many people think that the enchanted forest is a difficult part. A few days ago I made an update to the game in which I added a subtle hint for that puzzle. I hope it helps, but I can assure you it doesn't spoil it. 

It must have been my laptop causing to freeze.
