i never got to play monkey island 2

and it took me 3 weeks to finish the first one so that was why i asked.

has anyone done a remake of monkey island
like the kings quest remake

even if its a slapdash effort im still interested

if you have just started out using ags make your first game with the default gui and dont worry if it doesnt look polished'

when i started i wanted my game to be just like monkey island and i was posting questions about all sorts of stuff i didnt really need.

learn all the basics first  
and dont worry if it look shoddy you can always tart it up when you know more about the scripting

as my nan always says "YOUR TRYING TO RUN BEFORE YOUVE LEARNED HOW TO WALK"

also dont mess with the script unless you are 100%

ive started making my game ive downloaded the monkey island 1 gui by inquisitor but and it is great but ineed help with one thing and i cant seem to find it here

in monkey island when you click on use,talk,look e.t.c the text at the top of the bar says talk to look at object or person
but on my game it just says walk to object all the time

is there a way to get it to work like the original and if there is i would be happy

p.s try and type it as simple as you can because i am still getting to grips with the lingo

the atmosphere brought back childhood memories for me because i was scared of morph on the tony hart show but it is good that a game can do that.

I got a game today called The Neverhood today and it is ace. It is a point and click but it is all clay animation like morph. It cost me 40p from a charity shop as it was in the CD basket so they just thought it was a CD.

I advise you to check it out!
