There is a forum for this game, here it is, maybe if you asked over on that forum, or had a look to see if anybody else had the problem. I remember now having one problem where I had got to a point and the game crashed on me but there was a patch posted on that forum so I d/l that and I had no problem after that. Think it was because I was playing in Windows98 and not Xp but can't remember but that was the only problem I had.

I had look but did not find anything for Five Magical Amulets, so that is why I asked you for 'help' on the other one. I took a chance.Ã,  I am also playing in Windows98.Ã,  Once I downloaded the game , I have 5ma_setup and not fma.exe.Ã,  I wonder if that is my problem.Ã,  I have spent the whole afternoon trying to get that 8.0 or 9.0 DirectX and almost screwed up my computer.Ã,  It froze a few times.Ã,  I wonder if Rosie got wme.exe like you or 5ma_setup like me.Ã,  Hope she reads this post and might be able to shed some light.

I will try the forum you mentioned and see if anyone else has this problem.

Hi Sunshine..... I have windows xpÃ,  and I had no trouble downloading that game.Ã,  I got exe.Ã,  and it put an icon on my desktop.Ã,  What is the exact problem?Ã,  Are you trying to download the game and it is not working??
Try going to the game and see if the author can give you some clue as to why you are getting setup instead.

I have windows 98 and I also have an icon on my desktop but when I try to play the game I get a message that I need DirectX 8.0 version or latest.  When I try to download 8.0 or 9.0 (which I spent the afternoon doing) my computer crashes and I have to reload and reload and reload. I did post for help on the author's forum and am waiting for an answer.

I was wondering, to download the game you had a few choices of mirrors.  I chose www.adventuredevelopers.com/downloads/.  Is that where you downloaded your game

Joyce, I downloaded this game but cannot play it.  It keeps telling me I need DirectX 8.0. I downloaded both 8.0 and 9.0 and yet it is still asking for DirectX 8.0 so I cannot play it.

Ditto.  fovmester, this was a Great game.  It took me 2 days to complete it.  Puzzles made sense.   Hope we don't have to wait too long for a sequel.  Looking forward to it.  Man you really deliver good games.

I didn't have this in my inventory, by coincidence, I did a pickup command on hero and ground and got what I needed,
Try that if you also don't see anything in your inventory.,

I don't know if there are different ways to get through, but after I gave the 'blue' herring to the guard and he still would not let me through, I went in my inventory and used:

I need the answer for the 5th riddle. I don't think a hint will be enough since I'm not expert in English language.

I've finished MMM #1 and now I am stuck in Frank the farmhand #2.

I got the pînk pig and now the entrance is blocked. I tried getting out by the right side of the screen but I can only go to archeologist and hut.  I tried the chisel but it did not work so I though of making the bomb to get rid of debris, but where do you get the flint for the bomb and then how do you light it?

I've been playing for a few hours and I guess I am just plain dumb or hypnotized.  I just  can't think clearly anymore.

If you can shed some light, please feel free to do so.  It will be appreciated.

This was a 'hot' subject awhile ago, I would suggest that you do a 'search' at the top of the forum.  You will get all the answers you need.  I don't remember if there was a walkthru for the game.

Hope you find all your answers.  This is a great game.  At least I enjoyed it.

could somebody tell me the answers to the riddles so that I can get an apple, I think I got 1 right (moon) and I know from the hints the 3rd one is spider
I have rubber chicken which I talked to and it says it loves honey
banana, note, 1 coin, ring, herring (which is not red lol) so can't get by the Knight, empty bottle and pixie dust.

Sorry I seem to have upset you. I once remember reading on one of the forums that if you ask for help then manage to solve it you should let people know so as not to waste their time so thats what I did. If anyone needs hints on the riddles I'm willing to help.

You are right about letting people know so as not to waste their time.  But it would have been nicer if you would have 'hinted' as to how you solved it, like give us a clue if you did not want to give the real answer.

Anyway, I'm sorry if I sounded harsh but it really burns me when people do it.  We are in this forum to find answers, and someone else could be stuck where you were stuck.

If you can help with the riddles, I am stuck on #3 and would really appreciate it. I will probably also get stuck on # 4 and # 5
