Really strange, because I've tested the game so many times and it really never crashed on my computer.

Maybe it's some problem with playing the sounds, because you said it crashed when trying to fill the bucket (because then a water sound is played) - but I really have no idea what else it could be.

I really don't know what causes the crashes but if I didn't enjoy your game so much I would have given up.

Anyway like I said this was a very good game and I hope you will make more like this one.  Thank you.

I went back to the game, tried the 'forced letterbox' but that did not help.Ã,  Ã, What I don't understand is that the text in the 'critics' is great, black with white trimming but when we get to the 'Hamlet/house/barn' the text is all black no white trimming which makes it impossible to read.

YOU don't seem to have the same problem:

Vel please fix the 'black' text.  Cannot read your text so it takes the fun away from playing your game.  From what I have read so far, it does seem like a good game.

Well I finally completed the game.

Good game, nice graphics but it's too bad that it crashes so often.

Near the end, after you get the recipe, it just kept on crashing when I tried to fill the bucket. Then it crashed again and again.   It took me about 6 times to be able to complete the recipe.  I saved after every operation (water, eggs, carbon, and starch) but it just kept on crashing.  Once you have completed the recipe, you cannot SAVE anymore, so I just had to reload and reload and reload in order to see the end. 

Hope you can fix these bugs (crashes) because it is a good game.

I tried 3 times to play this game but my computer crashes (3 times) after I get my jacket and boots :'(

I know someone else has reported that the game crashed but I think it was further in the game (dining-room )

Can someone tell me what else to do or how to fix this problem

OK I found it in the completed game announcement.

I know you guys have said how to get the key a zillion times, but i still cant get it. ive tried clickin on the harlequin romance books and every other book on the shelf with the eye and the hand, and the "key to my heart" thing doesnt come up. HELP!

How far are you in the game?  I got the key when I had 9 points only.  So you really get the box/book in the Harlequin section at the beginning of the game. After that you open the box with scissors which are in your inventory and you then have 15 points.

By the way, do you have the scissors?   Because you get those before being able to get the key.  Maybe that is your problem

Has anyone else gotten stuck here? (after the seance) I'm stuck in a series of mysterious rooms and I can't get out!

I don't know if you are still stuck in those rooms but here is what I did.

enter 1st room, walk out.Ã,  Enter 2nd door and walk out.Ã,  Enter 3rd door and walk out.Ã,  Do this 2 times plus enter 1st and 2nd doors a third time and you will end up in front of your room (79 points) Talk to Alice.

Maybe you finished the game by now but if not this should help you and all the others that are stuck here.  After you push window in Ben's room, go through window and get pipe.

I don't have a walkthru but I just reloaded my game.

You get the key at the beginning (I had 9 points when I got it)

Go downstairs, look at bookshelf (left side, middle shelf - Harlequin's books) take green one or the one 'Key to my heart or something like that'.Ã,  This will be a box.Ã,  In your inventory take scissors to open box, and you get the key.

It has been quite some time since I played that game. I think you have to give him the playboy magazine.

For more help I would suggest you do a 'search' at the top of the page.  I'm sure you will get the answers you need as we all got stuck at some point in the game. 

As for a walkthru, I don't think there is one.

When you needed help, like in your previous post, you took the time to write exactly where you were stuck.

I'm sure you did not realize that you could have been very helpful to someone else but letting them know how you managed to get further in the game.

Click on the left side of the bookshelve and if I recall it's like in the middle shelve (green book)

I finished the game with 107. 

My mistake was to use the pipe on the door thinking I was using it on the padlock.  We have to pay attention to the description at the bottom of the screen.
