i tried it again - my seance started as soon as everybody round the table had started talking and giving over their personal items, my curser was now a ring so i presumed i had to give it to her which i did and the seance proceeded from there. Theres obviously something missing here but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is.

I realized my mistake after reading your answers:
Even if I gave her my ring in the Travel Room, it's like it did not count.Ã,  So I gave it back at the seance and the show went on

Now I'm stuck again.Ã,  Ã, 

the seance is over. I keep walking around in circles and nothing new is happening. I called Miggs and there is no answer and Percy has nothing to tell me.Ã,  Nobody in Travel Room.Ã,  Otto and Alice are working in Otto's room and they have nothing to tell me, Mrs. Tilly is in a coma. The English guy (forgot his name) has dissappeared. I go upstairs to door of Horror Room and nothing can be done. I went back to basement and nothing else in there neither.

I just can't think of anything else to do.Ã,  My mind is blank.

Would really appreciate some help. :'(

for the seance you needed 3 things. You must have given Tilly the blood and the lit candle but did you give her a personal item (ring) I just loaded a saved game and when I gave her 3 items the seance started, they were all sitting around table and each of them presented her with a personal item and my curser changed to a ring which I had to give her again.

Yes I have given her my 3 items when I went to see her in the Travel Room.  I don't know about the others but they are all sitting at the seance table.  Nobody is speaking and like I said before, I cannot do anything but sit there. I cannot talk, move, walk.  I am told not to disturb the seance.  That is why I was wondering how long we are to wait before anything happens or if I am supposed to do anything else.   

Can anyone tell me how long the seance is supposed to last?Ã,  I've been waiting for the longest time and nothing happens, the candle is burning, blood bowl on the table but I can't do anything. Everything I try gives me the message that 'you don't want to disturb the seance'.

Candle, does the game finish with only 90 points

I used the scissors as you said and the game ended 2 minutes later.  Wasn't there more things to do or more rooms to visit.
I managed to get into attics, basement, bathroom, laundry room.
I feel like I missed 1/2 of the game.  I'm sure there are more rooms to work with.

I have downloaded the fix.zip and it's the same.Ã,  The cat is always there, you give it to the guy, the points go up, the cat remains in the inventory and you give it back and get more points.Ã,  By the way, what is the total points to really finish this game

When you go into 'town', there is only one door/house you can open (far right) I go up the stairs (where I got the wire cutters) the hand goes red on the door (25 I think) but you cannot open it.Ã,  I tried everything in my inventory but nothing works.

You are absolutely right.  I tried to play both games and ran into trouble in both games.  I realized my mistake after I had posted in BTD and could not remember how to delete it.  SORRY

This game is free for sure. The web host I have limit to 1GB the traffic from my free account per month.
I thought it would be large enough as it was accepting up to 100 download of my game but it is already beyond this!! In one hand, I'm happy so many people are interested in my game, in the other hand, I'm disappointed by this failure...
So I will have a look to the proposition below to put it some game host today or tomorrow and create a mirror download!

Sorry I can't help you here.  I had lots of trouble with this game but I never encounter that one.  Maybe someone else can help you.  I hope so because it is very frustrating when you see all the questions and hints and the game seems to be very interesting and cannot play the game.    Good luck.

Hi Sunshinegold, you're welcome. If you've already downloaded the game and unzipped it ( I use win zip) open the folder and you should see a white square with a little blue on the top of it, it says "ACWIN",click on that, that's the game.

Hi SHE DEVIL. I have downloaded the game and had not problem after following your advise.

I did not have time to really play it yet but I went to the bar, went outside and saved the game. Then reading the walkthru I realized that I forgot the nail inside the bar so I went back to the game and I had no trouble loading my saved game.

  And now just before answering your post I went back to my saved game to see if it would still work and I had no problem.  I went back to acwin.exe, let the intro go by and just went to 'load'.

You don't have to restart the game, just go to your previous 'save'.   That should do the trick.

You are right it is a fun game, quite long and lots of rooms to work with.  I did enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this game but it has been ages since I played this game but I remember that I had the same problem and the reason that I had forgotten to do something first.

Did you bribe  Morkus in the Magpie Tavern?  Did you give the jewel to Nellie also in the Tavern?  Did she give you a flask with hard liquor? Did you talk to Luther and THEN to Grub the beggar?  Did you get a lockpick?
