Has anyone played this game?  How can you beat/get rid of the viogra monster?

I tried 'use gun', 'jump', 'cast fissop' 'use rock' 'use viogra spell' 'use notebook' nothing works. I get killed everytime.

Can anyone help

the fishing lure and the knife but can't seem to go any further.  I've spoken to the customer (shop assistant won't talk), I got back into the car but only option is back to Professor's street. How do I proceed? How do I get into the Professor's house?

To get the twine:

Spoiler

Place the ski at the end of the pier. Then, drop the heavy bucket on the ski. The cat will catapult into the sea, leaving the twine yours.

Thanks, I was really stuck. I was thinking that the pile of fishes might work with cat, but I was wrong.

Sunshinegold - I noticed in an earlier posting you had said you always return to the school when you try to restore. Maybe you have figured it out by now. When you start game just keep hitting escape to skip the introduction, wait till you are outside school then F7 to restore your saved game.

Thank you Joyce, somehow I finally got it. I knew about F5 and F7 but it was not working.  

HOW do guys manage to save your games?  I have to start from scratch everytime I get back to the game.

CAN ANYONE HELP?

I feel really stupid!  I can't go anywhere else but the school.  I got the coke sticker, dr pepper can and screwdriver.  I pushed the lever on the pipe in the basement and talked to everyone I have seen.  I am dead ended!  Can anyone help?

I'm stuck at the same place.  I did exactly the same things plus I have given the filled 'coca-cola can' to Ben in the Café, read all the posters, tried to use the screwdriver on the office door, no results, I am stuck and cannot go anywhere except basement, café, W/C and in and out of school.

Can anyone help.

I am trying to figure out how to get the white blanket out of the tree in the park. I have the heavy bucket,ski,weenies,knife,and fishing lure. I also am trying to figure out how to get the twine away from the cat

I tried to restore a saved game but it just brings me back to the front of the school.

Did anyone have the same problem?  Do we have to restart everytime?  HELP PLEASE

Hi, hope I can help you.  

If I remember correctly, once you get her notebook from her apartment, you can look at a topic, use the topic, etc.  Example, when you go to library and try to use the computer, she will say 'what should I look for' or something like that.  Then you take your notebook, click on a name or subject and use the notebook on the computer.  

As for your other questions, do a 'search' and look at all the questions and answers in this forum for this game.

You can always come back to this forum if you need further help.

 Hi, can someone please tell me how you get out of the house, I can't get passed the mom in the front and I can't find the key to the back door.  Is there a walkthrough for this game?

Could not find walkthru for the game but if you 'search' through this forum, you will find almost every solution for when you get stuck.

Hi, I'm very very new to this place, and I'm playing The Mystery of Haunted Hollow, an absolutely fantabulous game, but I'm very very stuck. I've read the help articles on the Hints forum, and none of them really help me. I know I'm supposed to come in contact with the Mom at some point in time, but that I also need a string from someone's coat. I've been in the house, in the town, to the museum, to the school (but not in the sheds or the school), made it past the watchman at the park, gone in the Manor, and been to the church, but I don't know how to give the puppy the meat.

So, how can I give him the meat, find the string and get to the Mom? I feel totally blind...heh.

To get to Mom you have to take the front exit. Before you go out you see a coat (thread)

I don't remember well, but I think it has to do with using the USE icon in the inventory window.

Thanks for answering so fast.  I guess I was very lucky that you were on line.  I sure would like to continue this game tonight.  I've been at it for about a week now.

I'm pretty sure you're right,  you say USE. I go and TAKE the whistle from inventory but I can't figure out how to use it.

I have been attacked by the panther so many times that I think I am out of blood :

I get the whistle but don't seem to know how to use it or when to use it :

I tried getting the whistle before/during and after 'you hear something' but nothing works. In the walkthru it says to INTERACT with whistle not to try to use it on panther. I have the whistle and try to use on Jake but I still get killed.

Also it says the panther ONLY emerges during evenings when it's dark.  Can I do something else and come back during the day

I got to the car crash scene and I found the corpse, photoed it, and searched it. Now I'm told to find a trail of blood that leads to a manhole cover and I'm supposed to get a liquid. But where in God's name is the freaking manhole cover?? Where is the blood trail? I have no idea!!! ( If you can take the car crash screenshot and circle the place where the cover or the trail is.)

Just wondering if you ever completed the puzzle of the manhole cover?

I had trouble completing but finally did.  You have to 'look' and then 'interact' with the manhole cover, then you will get the liquid.

Hope you didn't just give up.
