thank for taking your time but i discovered the walkthrough of Perils of poom.
This is a great game, luckely there are more of this kind of games.

There are quite a lot of good games.

I found quite a few of these games going thru the 'hints and tips' forum.  You kinda see how popular a game is when you look at all the request for help in this forum.

Hope you find these games.  Sometimes it's useful to go further in the forum not only on the first pages.

Enjoy. ;)

ahhhhh I'm stuck so bad!...i cant find the button for the 1st step this seems silly but i just cant help?

Well you got me going again. I couldn't remembe where find the 1st button so I replayed the game. I must admit it is so confusing I still would not be able to help you.  But from what I remember, the 1st button is UP in the room where the ladder is to the left and there is a torch burning.

In the meantime I have found a walkthru at:

http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcCc/Calsoon2,htm

hope this will really help you, but even with this walkthru you will pull your hair. ::)

It's been a while that I played the game so I'm a bit lost.  Maybe if you 'search' in the forum you may get a more accurate answer.

As far as I remember, the plastic bags are in the wardrobe with the gun and gloves etc. You should already have them if you've got the gloves.  :-\

Thanks. You are right I was using the glove instead of the plastic bags. Sometimes we get so into the game that we forget the simple things.  Thanks again now I can go forward.
Until next time. :)

Quote from: sunshinegold on Wed 17/03/2004 15:26:44I think this forum is the greatest.  Members are understanding and when we post a 'help' request, we usually get an answer within a fair amount of time.  I really enjoy this forum and I am happy when I can help a fellow-member or guest. :)

But secretly, we all think anyone who asks a question about AGS is stupid. ;D

Maybe I should have said that MOST of the members are helpful and understanding.

If we all HAD YOUR BRAINS, there would be no need for forums like 'hints and tips'.

Have a nice day :D

I think you might have to use one of the evidence bags, rather than the glove... :P

Thanks but where/when do you find the evidence bags. I did not see this in the walkthru ???

No, I think that thread is even locked, so you can't reply to it for requests, etc. It's just "sticked" so it always appear on top of the list and will not be pushed down by new threads. When someone is new to a forum, he has to make sure that he checked out the sticky threads first (eg. the rules threads are all sticky threads), so he can post correct stuffs according to set rules and won't ask questions already answered.

:)Thank you very much, now I understand.

Well... A sticky thread is a thread set to be "sticky" by forum moderators so it's always on top of the thread list.

Thanks.  If I understand correctly, it's a topic or game that keeps coming up with more 'request for help'.

I think it's not really that important to remind people of walkthroughs being added, people who are stuck in games and want assistant should just search those 2 pages first before asking anyways.

Sorry but I still don't understand what you meant with the 'sticky treads'?

If people email me with waltthroughs for their games, I'll add them to the AGS Walkthroughs page. Not many people bother writing walkthroughs for their own games though, and leave it up to me to do :P

I think it's mighthy nice of you to add the walkthru to the AGS walkthrougs pages, but there again there should a note/sign that a new walkthru has been added (first item in the 'hints and tips') but I think that if a developer wants his game to be recognized/played, it should be their responsibility/obligation to produce a walkthru. If they develop a game, they themselves had to follow an idea/walkthru, so it should not be hard for them to produce it.

If they just produce/develop a game and are not serious enough about it to write a walkthru, then they should not expect to have a lot of people to play their game. If they are not serious about their work, why should we be ???

Hmmm have you checked out the hints pages (see the sticky thread there) ? You can actually add walkthrough for AGS games there.

Sorry I don't understand, what exactly do you mean by the 'sticky thread'? ???

Also if  walkthru are being added, maybe there should be a note or a sign of some kind to let us know that new walkthrus are being added.

Hints & Tips / Pleurburgh- Dead Hand
Wed 17/03/2004 01:23:10
I have been trying for 2 hours to get the dead/bloody hand from the plant at the morgue (using the glove) but I cannot get it.

Can anyone help me?

I don't know what I could be doing wrong. I've been following the walkthru and have all the points I should have. ???

What does the crash message say?

IIRC this is a deliberate crash so that you never know who did it.

I just reloaded  a saved game (twice)  and what happens is that at the end, the screen just goes back to the beginning (watch intro) or (skip intro).

i am trying to complete the puzzle in the caves with the buttons and the wooden steps..i can seem to find either one of the buttons or the right combination..i have looked at the walkthrough and maybe its me but I'm still stuck! help?

This puzzle is very hard. I had to restart so many times that I almost gave up.

As the walkthru indicates, the 4th block is in the right position. So try to get block 3 in right place (one level lower) and SAVE.
Then same thing with block 2 - SAVE.

It can be done but you need losts of patience. >:(

Just want to report that when you think you have completed RR3, after the credits, just when you will find out who framed him, the game crashes.

I myself restarted  loaded games 4-5 times, with same results.

I posted in Hints and Tips to at least,  find out who framed him, but got one answer from a member that got the same problem.

I figure this must be a bug with the game. ???

Sorry I can't help.
The same thing happens to me

Thanks for taking the time to answer me.  Maybe someone else finished the game and got the answer. At least I know it's not my computer, it must be a bug with the game. :)

Stuck at the end.

Spoiler
So I'm standing in front of the radiator. The walkthrough says to use the screwdriver on the radiator, but when I do, nothing happens. I tried using every other item in my inventory on the radiator - also nothing. Is this a bug?

Where are you in the game? ???

I finally managed to get to the end, WELL ALMOST the end. After the credits, when he is ready to tell us who framed him, the game crashes, error message.

Did anyone finish the game?  If yes, please tell me if I was at the end and WHO framed him.

Thank you.

I CANNOT believe that no one can answer me ???

p.s.  I have reloaded the game a few times (3) and same result, crash before ending.
:-X

What is wrong with fellow members. AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT PLAYED THAT GAME >:(

When I can, I try to help other players so what's the problem here ???

I just need a simple answer:  Who framed R Redford? It is no use for me to restart this game after 5 reloads, my game still crashes.

You have to use 'Two for Heaven' on the Occult book.

Thank you for your help, I have now finished the game:)

If it would not have been for your 'hint' I probably would still be going around in circle. ::)

Who would like to see a second part to this game?

I like the game but did not like the ending. There should have been a complete ending not a suspense 'to be continued' if there is not a game to follow. Once you are in a game you like to see the end.
