Here's my entry, sorry it sucks so much:

In case you were wondering, that's Sam Fisher (from Splinter Cell) and Max Payne (from...Max Payne)!

I may make another (different) one to make up for the crappiness of this one.

Sorry to bring this topic back again, but once again, I'm stuck. At the crossword puzzle that LGM mentioned. Any hints?

I'll tell you what I got so far:

Spoiler
1 - maybe 'unusual'?
5 - 'mouth'?
[close]

And therein lies my problem. That's really all I got. I suck.

Are you going to tell us who's asking you to do this this time?

It's really great, cpage. The rug looks a little misshapen & the book case could do with a little more detail, since it's at the centre of the picture.

Her hair's not the right colour...

It's really great neole, especially the shading.

Those who enjoy Discworld should definitely read Good Omens, co-written with Neil Gaiman.  I personally think it's the best thing he's written, even if I don't know specifically which parts he wrote.  The humourous bits are pretty identifiable as Pratchett, but the story maintains an epic quality strangely untarnished (and indeed, enhanced) by the satirical medium.
I agree. Good Omens is one of my favourite books too. I've read it twice in the past two years.

I prefer 2D for the most part. Some animations and stuff simply wouldn't look right in 3D. Imagine if the Simpsons was completely in 3D for example - it wouldn't work as well.

Sometimes 3D can be good though. Norman Cooks looked good, but I think that's because Danny (the creator) adopted a cartoony feel for it. I think if most people went 3D then they would try to make it too realistic.

Perhaps it's just because I'm used to 2D adventure games (I haven't played Grim Fandango).

Here's a very simple idea, maybe you could expand it a little:

In front of you is a boy with a toad in his pocket (lets say he stole it from biology). To your left is a squemish girl.

You have some chewing gum & your shoelace in your inventory. You combines the two to make a sort of lasso-type-thing.

You use your lasso on the toad in front to get it and then use the toad on the girl. She screams and voila! there's your distraction.

As I said, very simple...

I too love the Hitchiker series and anything by Terry Pratchett. Strangely, all of Douglas Adam's other books (that I've read) have been terrible (in my opinion).

But anyway, to anyone who hasn't read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, DO IT!

A blonde walks into Dixons & says to an assisstant and says "I'd like to buy this TV please."
He replies "We don't serve blondes"
She comes back the next day, & says to a different assisstant & asks again.
He replies "We don't serve blondes"
Sick of this, she dyes her hair red & comes back the next day.
Once again she asks an assisstant if she can buy a TV.
He replies "We don't serve blondes"
She says "How did you know I was a blonde?"
He replies "That's a microwave."

The last good book I read was "Popcorn" by Ben Elton, but a lot of you will probably have read it already.

I love your style!

The desks look a bit weird, as if they ony have one leg. Also I think it would benefit from a little shading.

I think it's Leisure Suit Larry, but then again, I've only played the first in that series so don't ask me. I mean again.
