The only thing that comes to mind is Look Around You (here is the Maths episode) but that has nothing to do with AGS. Any good?

Love love love it. Looking forward to the book, the film, the game, the adorable plushies, everything.

Edgar Wright is honestly the only director I can think of who would do this property justice. His unique approach to the visual medium of film is ideal for Pilgers.

Still not sold on Cera, but I'm willing to give him a decent chance because I generally like him.

Um, yeah, I'm relatively sure I don't want my name associated with rape. That's one of my "buttons."

Sorry fellas, I tried to record a follow-up but my microphone officially died. Might be able to get a replacement later in the week, but until then I'll just have to settle for my existing millions in royalties. :(

That said, if anyone else could post a cover/remix I'd be happy to have a word with the record execs to see if we can get you a deal!

EDIT: Well okay here's a version of the new track, sort of: http://soundcloud.com/veryweirdguy/vwg-feat-robodude-shiny-puppy-melody

If that's true I'm afraid I have the rights to it now. I'm off to EMI!

In my experience, most 3D programs are pretty similar - if you learn the basic principles for one, you should be able to get by. That is the tricky part though.

Don't use Blender though, it doesn't have zVerily.

Best film of the year so far. Laugh out loud but still thought provoking, and a very daring take on a sensitive topic. I would recommend to anyone.

Well, before everything shuts down for good, I'd better just reveal my true feelings:

I have been completely head over heels in love with one AGS member for 4 years now. I cannot stop thinking about them every single moment of my life. I guess this is the end of that.

I'm going to leave a final message for them in the spoiler box below. I think they know who they are. Please, don't highlight it if it's not you.

Please.

I love you:

Spoiler
Not you you perv.

I support this 100%, and look forward to the reboot of the remakes.

The need for an installer depends mainly on your target audience.

If you're looking for a casual audience, with little gaming experience, an installer would give the the game a feel of fake "professionalism," which would fool them.

If it's for gamers, especially those on this site, an archive would be best, as I'm sure this thread has proven.

To sum up:

"I hate it when these people get lots of views on their videos.

Here, take a look at these videos!"

Finished the game.

It really cannot be judged unless you play it. Not sure it's a revolution, but it definitely feels like an evolution. At first I thought it might have adventure game elements but to be honest, it doesn't really. There is no inventory and very few "puzzles", rather a series of interactive scenes. The only relevance I can see to adventure games as a genre is that the popularity of a title like this may encourage other developers to try out different things with more of a "classic" adventure game mechanic.

This was thoroughly enjoyable though, I am looking forward to going back and seeing what other paths can be taken. The only problem I had with it was the identity of the killer, which I found a little contrived, but that may have been a personal preference.

I think the most important thing to take away from this ceremony is that some people got trophies and some people did not.

Sucks to be you Andail.

The Oscar nominations are interesting this year.

While I consider District 9 to be a better movie than Avatar (and while I did like Avatar, I also preferred Inglourious Basterds, Up and Up In The Air) I still think Avatar will take Best Picture. Everything I have seen seems to believe that if you're in Best Picture and not Best Director then you've basically no chance. Which is a shame.

I've not seen Hurt Locker but most reckon it's Avatar's main competition for the two main categories, although I'd love to see Tarantino swoop in for either.

RE: Zoe Saldana - should she deserve a best actress nomination? This is becoming more of a factor these days, since Gollum was such a believable character and in a few years these CG characters may be the norm. What people seem to forget is the performance on screen - which at the end of the day is how the category should be judged, regardless of how it was done - was not just produced by Saldana, but an army of animators, modellers, etc. If Saldana deserves an Oscar, do they not all deserve one too? See answer below.

Answer: I don't actually know the answer. I'm sorry. :(

Looking very nice! A thousand huzzahs!

Oh and the game doesn't look that bad either.

I agree with Ali, basically.

I don't understand why Downey Jr got a Golden Globe for this. In my opinion it was his weakest of recent performances, and usually I quite like him.

I won't be seeing the inevitable sequel.

General Discussion / Re: Twitter

The people who dismiss Twitter most are the ones who have never used it and do not understand it. It's a communication tool, just different from what people are used to.

I use it a lot, and like it! It's done a lot of good for me (from gaining some readers for my webcomic to winning me a PS3!)

Oh oh oh I just remembered the worst thing about Avatar: The Papyrus.
