To get the movement right, do it yourself first, in front of a mirror. No wait. Make sure no-one is watchng you before you do this, so you don't look stupid.

Pull out your fake gun. Look at your arm position(s). Draw the same position on your char. Then draw a frame about half-way between these two 'extremes' (the one with the arm down and the one holding the gun.

A good way to do this is to start off drawing the arms as sticks in the position you want them. One the movement is right, then you can build up the rest of the arm around it.

Keep doing the inbetweens in this fashion & you should eventually come to a satisfactory, fluid movement.

Perhaps he didn't know you are Yufster. I didn't realise you had changed your name, either.

Just to confirm, Assass (do you mind if I call you that?):

Ami = Yufster.

....under appreciated sleep now.

I read that as 'under appreciated sheep' & thought you too might be trying for a baby......

I'd like to take this oppurtunity to ask: can you guys see my avatar?

It's just, I can't, but I'm pretty sure the url is right & everything. It's not even a red cross that shows up......just blankness.....

I'm using Geocites with Anonomiser (or whatever it's called), so that could be part of the problem, of couse.

For quite some time I read 1337 as 'onethousandthreehundredandthirtyseven'. I did it deliberately in my head of course, but I never knew why.

The topic title makes me wonder if anyone has an old baby.....

Congrats, foz!

I just had to post this before the topic reaches the second page...:

For m0ds

And I also agree with DG & Farl on this one.

Start a new Sprite Jam (topic) in the same manner, ie set rules (theme, size, colours, etc. etc).

I know what you mean. Lately I have been getting a LOT of dodgy e-mails from people, but Norton Anti-virus deletes any bad attachments for me.

Watch out though they can be pretty sneaky in how they do it.

For example, the other day I got an e-mail saying something along the lines of 'You're e-mail to *whoever* has not been delivered. See the attchment for more details'. It looked pretty proffessional, but the attachment had, of course, been deleted.

Another common one is when the subject says something like 'Re: Your Inquiry' or 'Re: Your document'. The message then reads something like 'It's all in the attachment'. People think they have gotten someone else's e-mail (somehow) & are nosy enough to read it for them, when of course it has a virus attached.

Mind you, if people are that stupid, maybe they deserve the virus.....

- My forum name is the exact same as my IRC nick name, to the capitalization
- Every single one of my avatars has been a face, except for one, which was a sign
- I have been part of the community since JUST before the forum change, but have not released a game yet.

This one should be easy, guys.

Urm.....has anyone guesses this guy yet? It's getting a little confuzzling.

Anyway, if 'the guy with the opening and closing mouth avatar' is correct, then I believe you are referring to one Mr Trapezoid.

Prove me wrong, Trap.

Right, before we get anymore guests, perhaps we should try to guess who Moocow, Ipso Facto & sillyname are? And releasethefrogs, could you reveal if you are ninja-vampire or not?

I don't want this thread full of unanswered guests, y'know?

I think it automatically deletes a member after so many months if they have not logged in, I remember seeing that somewhere. Maybe it was on a different forum though.

I would love to do some stuff, but I don't think I could be reliable enough to do like, an article every week, or whatever.

Would it be possible to submit articles (or whatever) whenever you have one? Like, freelance work, if you will?

If so, I'd be interested in doing this - PM me if you wanna make out.

Have you definately checked the e-mail? I think that's what sparks off the Old Man's place on the map.

If not, it could be a bug, in which case you should probably just start again. You're not that far into it.

Good luck!

Ebay's definately your best bet. At time of writing typing, I saw an A5 (I think) Wacom for £1.00 with two hours left to bid. It's all about the timing for the best bargin.
