He just saved up his frequent flyer miles...

Next week on the MSPaint Game show: "I warned him not to do it, but he wouldn't listen..."

then sam and max hit the road. Heard there was gonna be a sequal true?

I loved Sam & Max too. I haven't played as many adventure games as some of you here (I'd like to think I am too busy making them myself :p), but I'd probably say Sam & Max is my fav.

And yes, you heard right.

This is just very strange....

I'm not using a firewall or download manager and Me's idea didn't work.

It is of course possible that whenever I have tried there have also been many others trying to download it, but it just seems unlikely because I have tried every day for the last week or so. :(

Thanks for your help guys, but I guess I'll just have to try and find it somewhere else (the internet is a big place, right? RIGHT?)
#864
Oh, is that what you do? Cos I've been typing in 'PLEASE' into that big box for the past week!

That's not the problem. I don't know what is the problem, but that's not it.

I just noticed Home of the Underdogs are hosting it. Doesn't include the voice pack, unfortunately.

Has anyone got this to work yet? I've been trying for the last week or so and have always got the 'Oops! There has been an error!' page. I would really like to play this game and this is the only place that even pretends to have it (that I have found) so.........does the damn thing work?

Correction:

Fuck YOU ALL WHO DIDN'T MENTION Jon Stickman!

* AGA hugs veryweirdguy

Pfft, that was just an excuse for you to give another Jon Stickman link.

Farl is right - there are just too many to mention them all! Stop making games dammit!

In addition to what's already been said here, I am looking forward to Jon Stickman (demo was very good) & The Case (although eVOLVE said himself that this wasn't due 'til the end of the year).

Oh, and the 'obligatory' KI :P

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but...

Black Books!

w00t! I loved Black Books, but I'm not sure if they're making another series or not. Bill Bailey is great in that - I think he's a great comedy performer. I've also seen some of his stand-up stuff (although not as much as I'd like) & it's hilarious because of the energy he puts into it.

Little Britain was a big surprise for me - I've always liked Matt Lucas, but never seen David Walliams before, so I didn't really expect much. If you do get a chance to see this outside the UK, then watch it - very similar to Log, and much funnier (IMO).

deltamatrix - I saw one episode of TLC. It was crap. I vowed then never to watch it again.

And everything Phil said about The Office is true. Death to anyone who says otherwise.

I found some of 'em on GameFaqs (unoficially the 17th 1337est site on the internet) a while back too:

Larry Vales
Larry Vales 2
Space Quest: The Lost Chapter

Um....I'm sure there used to be more in there (such as Permanent Daylight, Pleughberg, 6 Day Assassin) but either they've gone, or my memory is going in my old age.

24 (TV): FilmReviews.Net reports that the BBC has dropped plans to air the third season in the UK after negotiations with FOX failed.

Too bad mates.

Just in case anyone reads this and starts crying, Sky One are showing the third series of 24 in the UK in the new year (I predict around February), so um.............if you don't have Sky then continue crying.....

Darth is right. 24 & Scrubs are the best two American shows on at the moment.

As for British comedy, what did everyone think of the last two episodes of The Office? Personally I thought they were great - despite the predictable ending, it was a nice way to round it all up.

I love it when people get all ambiguous -- it makes me get all hot and sweaty.

Do you have any photos of this? *ahem*

Personally, I think that we complain about #ags too much - it is actually quite a fun place. Sure ocasionally we get some clanners or something annoying everyone, but we don't actually need the ops that often, so they can idle all they like. And when they are active, they are good at their job - they were chosen for a reason you know.

Also Terran - is it Annie you were refering to? I believe Annie is a very good op, she does what is needed in the channel, no matter what.

I got:

Prince of Persia (for PS2)
XIII (for PC, great game)
Coldplay album
Chocolate (huzzah!)

and, most useful of all for here, a WACOM tablet! Still getting to grips with using the thing though!

There was of course other stuff, but I'm sure you're not interested in the rest :P
#877
I got about 20000 on Darth's (level 6 or 7, can't remember) & 326 on Rode's  ;D

With all the technology at our fingertips, what do we choose to play? 3D Pong. Hmmm.

I was going to play Half-Life tonight, but instead I'm addicted to these two. They're great!

I saw it m0dsy, and it's great. Well done miez!

Critics' Lounge / Re:My First Character
Sun 21/12/2003 15:43:33
I think his head is a bit too big. While a moderately oversized head can be used well, I just don't think it looks right on this character. Lower the head as well (make the neck shorter) and it should look better

Also, one way of making the hands look better would be to straighten his arms - at the moment they are slightly bent at the elbow. Lastly, I think you should make the hands a little bigger. Compare your own hands to your face - they should almost cover it. It's surprising, but true.

Other than that, nice first character! Certainly better than my first ever!
