And I disagree that anything can get too popular. I only found Homestar a couple of weeks ago, but since I have recommended him to a few of my friends, and they may do the same, and it will just go on. It's nice to have an 'inside joke', but I think it's better when it's a joke you can talk about with as many people as you can.

Yes, I agree with what Snake has said. The demo was a little too easy and short, in my opinion, mainly because there were very few hotspots at all, so what you had to do was always fairly obvious. Although some of this may because you had a deadline to stick to.

But I saw a lot of potential here. Overall, I'll say that I enjoyed the demo - the graphics were quite good, and the humour was better than a lot of stuff we see here. Here's to the full game! I look forward to it!

Before I start:

For those who don't know, the Sprite jams used to take place on #ags (IRC) before someone (I think it was Layabout) moved them to the forums as a regular thing.

Now, all this happened before I became a member, so I wanted to know just how it all worked. Did you decide on a topic and then meet up after an hour? Was there a special channel for it?

I would like for these 'old skool' jams to be revived. I think we could create some great stuff with them.

Anyway, what do you think? Ideas?

One reason that he may not want us to pay is that he does get something back from us - our games. Also, he considers many people from this community (especially the Mitteners) to be his friends, and would feel guilty taking money from them.

Of course I could be wrong. He could just have some deep psychological trauma related to his mother nailing him to the wall as a child or something. I don't know.

Am I the only one to say Sam & Max? It is the game which has actually made me laugh the most times. Moreso than even the Monkey Islands (the first two of which come second on my list).

Wow, Farlander's a brave guy, bringing his girlfriend to us, especially with that m0ds lurking around....
