Basically, i want to move a character from point a to point b, however, there is no walkable path he could take, and i want him to kinda teleport there if you get what i mean. basically i want a man standing at poin A to disappear, and reappear at point B. any ideas?

basically, i want smoke to appear in a building wen i do a certain action? how can i accomplish this?

a most unusual problem, when i set text to be displayed as normal text, it appears as tho the protagonist is saying it. I have tried changing the colour of the protagonists text, and the narrators text colour also changes. most unusual, would appreciate some guidance on solving this matter

basically im having trouble making an object animate and move. for example, i want it to appear like the item is being thrown. so i want an object to appear infront of the player, go to the destination in the throwing animation, then disappear. anyone know how i can accomplish this?

Im starting my very first ags game thats actually began taking shape
The game is entitled October 18, and is about a Journalist called Paul Shields who works for the local paper in an american city, who is assigned to write a story about a bomb explosion in a goverment building. However, after finding a lead to who may have caused the attack, Paul ends up uncovering a major consipracy within the town that could put not just his city in danger, but the entire world. The game is rather dark and serious, with a plot based on the real world (in other words, no paranormal activity or such things).

The game is still in early stages but is definatly making progress.

Graphics: 5%
Characters: 7%
Sound: 30%
Scripting: 40%

^^^ The above is a rough estimate. Because i dont have an exact idea on the length of the game its rather hard to predict how complete each area is (with the exception of story and characters)

created a little temporary website with some basic information on, and some of the charactors.

Also, the characters are all in need of somebody willing to do there voices. If anyone is interested Pm me or email me (my address is on the site, under the characters page). Im also offering anyone willing to do the voices the chance to rewrite there lines as they see fit (so long as they fit in with the story of course), this should give each character there own style of speech, aswell as accent and voice, hopefully making each character seem deeper (or at least not all identicle:P:)
