Hey, AGS forums! Looking for some help on a new project. Details below!
Project: Working name: Final Production - it's my first, but maybe we'll pull a Final Fantasy with this name!
Details: A story where you're not the hero, just one of the troops. A recruiter tells you that you can travel between worlds and asks you to join the fight to support the hero in his fight against the Big Bad.
There are eight worlds in total, here are samples from the first three:

You might need to be a bit clearer about what you want.
Do you just want somebody to draw in the walkable areas/walkbehinds and create the room to room links so that a character can simply walk around the game world...
Or are you looking for somebody to code the whole game including everything mentioned above but also all the puzzles/NPC interactions etc?
The reason I ask is that the difference in workload is huge between these options:
The former might take a day or two of work. The latter might take several months of work, or more depending on how complex the gameplay is to be...
Aha! That was a "can't see the forest for the trees" situation; I've been working on it so long that I thought it was obvious the rest of the game isn't ready yet. Sorry about that, thanks for pointing it out!
It's definitely the former: stuff all the background art into AGS, walkable areas + walk behinds, room to room links.
Out of curiosity, that being one of the simplest parts of AG making (especially if you have the background art ready and waiting) - in AGS it's literally drawing some lines and adding two lines of code to each room... I'm curious why you need someone else to handle this task, just how many room to rooms are there? :) As Mandle says, and going by your '14 rooms' reference, this would take you in the region of 30 mins if you concentrate?
It's simply an issue of time. The last time I used AGS was years ago, and when I tried to do it myself for this project, I discovered I'd have to go through a new learning curve to get myself up to date. That would be fine, except I'm currently in the process of starting my own business (which is fixing computers and copyediting) in the hopes that I can quit my job and do that instead. Hence the lack of time-- all that running around setting up leaves me little time to re-learn AGS to make my game (or even enough attentiveness to notice I got a reply here, oops!). Still, the art is relatively fresh, I don't want to lose momentum if at all possible.
