WANTED: Sprite Creator / Animator for QUALITY Lucas style Freeware hobby game

Hi all!

I'm creating a game with my friends with AGS and I'm in desperate need of a sprite creator / animator. I have a team of pro musicians, Voice actors, script writer and AGS user.... Everyone who is involved has extensive experience on a professional level in their field.... All I need is YOU!

I'm looking for wacky sprites akin to DOTT or old 90's cartoons such as Ren and Stimy for example.... thick black outlines and exaggerated movements.

This is a hobby game but the emphasis is on quality.... we plan to release a first chapter that will last a couple of hours and go from there in the hope that one day we may create a commercial game. Needless to say we wont get paid..... it's for fun and glory! There is no strict time limit, but even though it will be pretty laid back, I'd like you to put in a handful of hours a week to keep the ball rolling.

As it stands the backgrounds are 90% done, Script is about 50% done... and is hilarious, Music production starts this weekend and voice production starts after xmas. I can provide examples upon request.

Below are a couple of images.... an example of background art and an example of a character idea, which I will supply to you for sprite ideas. I'm still undecided as to weather this game will be high res or low res... I like both and it depends on what kind of animator I find.... so don't think that your sprites have to be high res.
