Hello all,

I've read a lot of the forum rules and hope that I've found the right place to post.

I am a musician / Writer (No wait, come back!) and am looking to 'release' a concept EP sci-fi computer game.

VERY basic synopsis:

'Point Of No Return' or 'No Return' is a bleak Sci-Fi tale that will take around 30 minutes at most to complete.

Your Ship's computer wakes you up from stasis as your vessel has passed the point of no return and there is now no possible way you will ever be able to return to your home planet. Your main interaction is with this computer AI and its database.

what follow is a series of interactions that will allow you to discover (your over-long time in stasis has made you incredibly disorientated - allowing 'you' as the player to discover things as new) your initial mission parameters, your own identity (A decorated captain in Earth's interplanetary armada) view messages from loved ones and eventually the twist which is that your mission was faked in order to dismantle the idea of a military so that society can move forward. The real mission was always to have you out of the way.

There is no way this game can ever be 'won' - I had an idea that you could unlock the whole EP by conserving oxygen by jettisoning your remaining crew while still in stasis (Hey, I said it was bleak!) but this part could change.

There is a lot more to this story, but didn't want to blather on TOO much here.

Influences of the music are John Carpenter films, and examples of my work can be found here https://soundcloud.com/weamthefractals

How can you help? I'm looking to collaborate with someone with knowledge of how AGS works, that can artwork out ideas and also add their own ideas. I have the story planned out - but would be happy to collaborate with someone inspired by the project. I'm looking for a collaborative partnership. I don't see the visuals as being massively complex.

I'm not sure if this is something I would sell - but I would make sure you are compensated for your time - Let's discuss it if you think this is something you could work on!

This sounds very intriguing and right up my street! I love the music on your soundcloud.

I've just got back into AGS after a huuuuge break and have made a couple of small games. My original plan was to enter the MAGS competition every month for a year but after having realised how unbelievably long it takes to promote and market a game I'm open to the idea of collaborating with someone and taking a little more time over the development.

I'm primarily a programmer/designer but I also do art and music. You can take a look at my projects on calicoreverie.co.uk.

If I were to come on board then it would have to be after I finish my March MAGS game (or not as the case may be) and if I were to do some/all art then I would pretty much have to work in a low pixelated resolution like 160x90 or 320x180 (see my games) as it's all I'm good at to be honest!

Nice to meet you anyway and welcome to the forums :)
