...simply by being in the forum and clicking on the logo at the top to go out to the main site on my way to the games page. It's still there on every non-forum page I visit, and it's running extremely slow.
Sorry if this is an inconsequential error, but I'm still a bit freaked out after having lost the forums for most of this past week!
EDIT: on top of that, I just tried to go into the forums again and got an access denied message. I was afraid the forums were down again, so I didn't bother to take down the message as I didn't think I'd be able to report it.
Same here. I wonder is there was a quick fix to get the forums back online but still some problems behind the scene.

I got a very similar message when I tried to upload images for my game entry in the database. The difference was that the denied permission was on line 1094 ( the long url ended with public_html/pages/game/add_or_edit.php )

Sorry about that, side effect of the fix for the forums. You'll see I uploaded a placeholder image, which you should now be able to overwrite.
Thank you. I still got error messages the first two times I tried, but now it seems to work. Somehow it ended up with image 1 in spot 1 and 2, while image 3 shows up correctly. That's good enough for me, but either I've done something wrong, or there is still something not in perfect condition.
I didn't see any of the issues you described when I looked, but I did rename image 3 to image 2 so it's more in line with what you'd expect to see.
