I've seen Greenaway's self-referential tour de force quite a few times, never once did I realise it had "Arthur Hastings' great-grandfather" in it until you posted that screenshot. When it comes to intellectually challenging cinema, there's no way around this director in my opinion - he's as good as his opus is obscure.

Thanks for posting that one, I definitely need to watch it again. This is quite literally, a brilliant film.

It looks a little like a young Mick Jagger, so I'm going to guess Gimme Shelter or Shine A Light. Otherwise it might be a Euro film from the 50s/60s? Maybe French or British New Wave?

EDIT: never mind, I checked Google Image search and it looks like CW got it.
