Every year... I never learn.

Brussels sprouts are evil. I know this. I've known this for many years.
We eat them every year for Christmas and every year they make me fart so badly that I can't sleep. In fact, I have been known to wake myself up farting in the night after a portion of sprouts.
This Christmas, I decided to cut down on the them, not just for my own good, but for the good of those around me.
But, I actually didn't fart that much, so today for boxing day lunch (which was basically just Christmas dinner again) I decided to go for some more sprouts.  And now I haven't stopped farting for the past 10 hours and they keep on coming.
I probably won't sleep tonight, but I should probably unplug my computer soon in case a spark causes my room to explode.

I'm jealous. As a manly man, I pride myself on my manly flatulence. But suddenly I feel inadequate next to your glorious, gassy plus sign, Stu. Have you considered converting your car to run on compressed natural gas? :cool:

I eat them regularly during the winter and I haven't really had much problems with them. The same can not be said for people that have to be in the same room with me. (nod)

But...why would anyone voluntarily eat brussel sprouts? There are people on earth who actually find them tasty?
They're like...soggy, buttery lumps of sock!

You're doing something wrong, then. The trick is, you cook them, then you melt some butter in a pan, cut some ham and bacon, fry that, then add a pinch of nutmeg, and then pour some chicken stock and the sprouts into the pan and let it simmer for ten minutes. Goes well with pork and mashed potatoes.

I think it's you that's doing something wrong, all those other things are delicious even without the sprouts, in fact, I dare say the brussel sprouts stop all the other stuff you mention from being super delicious.

Sounds delicious to me.  I do like sprouts but we tend to only really eat them at Christmas.  It saves money on underwear in the long run.

@Miguel - Hours of fun :-)
