Hello, I want to become a Moderator here. What are the important things I need to do?

Watch the training montage from the movie "Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins". I'm pretty sure all the mods have to go through that at some point.

Shadowface, i think to become a moderator you'd have to be a member for many years, be a respected member of the community, and there be a need for one.
OK if you people are gonna respect me and explain to me what is wrong with my post if anything witch you haven't been doing than I won't need to become one.

Icey is the guy to talk around here...if you need things done, I mean.
I once had a problem with the community (liquid retention) and Icey took care of some...let's just say that Icey can pull a few strings for you.

You have a total of 31 posts in these forums, you haven't worked on any finished AGS games, your offer to assist people with PR for their games is summarized as "just upload it on a hosting site", of the few posts that you have made (and in your profile) there are a slew of spelling and grammatical errors. Strictly speaking, these don't necessarily mean that you would be incapable of being a good moderator.
What they do mean is that you don't have the reputation, rapport, or history of interacting in the community to show that you would be. As has already been pointed out, there's not currently a need for any more moderators. The team we have now has covered the task pretty well. If a position did need to be filled, it would be someone who has shown themselves to be a valued member of the community, who not only understands but also respects and follows the rules.
Sure, a lot of people have met your posts with snark and sarcasm, but hey, it's the Internet. Welcome to it. Once you've been around for a while and become acclimated to the community you'll be a lot less likely to get these kind of responses. Then again, your posts have kind of warranted it (showing little thought or regard on your part beforehand). So... eh.
P.S. I'm kind of playing the devil's advocate here in that I'm so often the one putting people off with my replies. I figure if nothing else someone can give you the serious answers that you'll fail to listen to and then complain that no one gives you a fighting chance.
But see I try to use proper spelling and the moderators complain about my post most of the time and they don't explain what is wrong with them. How would I know what is wrong with my post if people don't want to explain what is wrong?
If you think you are being mistreated, read the rules of each forum first.
Your threads in the Games in Production forum are good examples. Read the rules of that forum and you will understand why your threads are being locked.

1. Omit unnecessary conversational words for clarity.
2. Use a comma before "and" when an independent clause follows.
3. "Most of the time" implies posts, plural.
4. Rambling sentence. Separate the third independent clause into its own sentence.
5. Tense mismatch. Either "would I have known what was" and "people didn't," or "can I know" and "people don't."
