Far superior to the foolish "Movember" crap, No Shower November is a serious fundraising campaign dedicated to promoting bad hygiene awareness. Every single day 500 or more people are killed in shower-related accidents. Please help bring an end to this serious problem. Stop taking showers! It could save your life!

This is a great idea. The coat of sweat and dirt keeps you warm and also keeps away other people that only consist of bacteria and viruses they got from other people this time of the year anyways.

on a totally unrelated note, I heard streetbeggars make an average of 30-40â,¬ per day (which is not bad for doing nothing at all!) but in december (with christmas around) they make more like 300-400â,¬ a day and live off of that for the rest of the year. And now (for scientific reasons only) I'm interested in the relation between smellyness, beardyness and income...

In other news, having even a shower is quite taxing on the old money bill. I'd say this idea is green more than anything. And I'm not just talking about the mould on your ear, either.
