The number of the last character counting from the left that many spaces is the first multiple.
The second multiple is hard.

I really don't though. I know that my 21 point word is referencing a C and the 7 point word is referencing an A but I don't understand how. Something in my earlier posts is causing it to reference something that doesn't exist hence 0 points. I guess I am just not seeing it.

SOLUTION:
Multiple 1: Counting from the left a number of spaces equal to the last letter's value
Multiple 2: The maximum number of letters found in sequence starting from A? (So a found anywhere is 1 point, ab 2 points, abc 3 points, etc.)
