The New Familiar is a dialogue-heavy adventure game set in a dream-like high school. It is designed to be very replayable, and it is centered around exploration and change. The game can be very depressing, but it doesn't have to be. The player influences the story's direction, even when they don't have direct control.

Walk around, click on things, enter and leave doors, see the colors change. Advertised as text-heavy, but there's more text on this page than in the whole game. Left wondering me if I'm not artsy enough to understand what was going on, or whether I should have been on drugs to enjoy the time I spent with this "game".
Pretentious, keeps you from knowing what you're doing, but it doesn't seem to deliver any knowledge. Instead of piquing my interest, it made me not care about the character. I don't think there was a story.
