P.I. Broderick's fiancée, Lauren, is gone — maybe for good. And this time, she doesn’t want to be found. All signs point to Broderick as the reason. Or do they?
Then one fateful call changes everything. Marty, the local barkeep, says Lauren has resurfaced — locked inside the Blue Note's bathroom, silent and unreachable.
Broderick has to ditch the bottle, dust off his instincts, and talk his way through one final mystery. This is his last shot to make things right... or go out with a bang.
Expect these things:
- Mystery and Suspense.
- Hardboiled Dialogue.
- Add clues to suspect profiles.
- Classic adventure game puzzles.
- Dark jazz music score.

Despite opening with a strong set-up for a hard-boiled adventure, a lack of experience with the AGS engine results in a number of technical errors, particularly regarding the UI, making the game somewhat of a chore to play. Graphics, while somewhat minimalist in style, are consistent and help with the atmosphere.

The developer's first game, and it shows technically. But the writing is good, so this little noir game is well worth playing.
I found out that the OST might not be working, at least it didn't when I tested the download for myself. It works fine within the AGS engine.
If anyone has any technical issue or suggestions to improve the game, you can report it to me directly. I'd really appreciate all the comments and feedback, as I want to make it more fun for you!
I actually liked this game a lot!
First of all, I love detective games and point and click with just 2 options (left-click to interact and right-click to look at - I know there is a name for this kind of interface, but I don't remember it!), and I think this story was really nice for a short game.
It was fun to interact with the carachters and understand what happened through what they say and the items you find. I also liked the idea of adding some items to each suspect in a list to gain evidence.
My only few issues were "techincal": I couldn't see the items in one of the lists, they disappeared, but if I right-clicked on the spot where they were supposed to be I could read the description.
All in all I had fun playing :-)
Thanks to everyone who's taken a chance on my game so far. Your poor judgment fuels my questionable journey into game development.
