About

What are friends for? That's precisely why you decide to help out a friend who's in over his head. But you never expected this...

Your friend Alex goes missing, an array of notes and clues left behind, pointing to his possible whereabouts. The story of an elusive mystical gate connecting our world to another may be more than simple lore. An artifact so powerful you wish you had never laid eyes on it. And the key to all three lies in--the Oracle.

The Oracle is a first-person perspective, photo-realistic adventure game, shot on-location in North America and Europe.

Comments are greatly appreciated!

The Oracle is a nice little idea which shows great promise for a future full length game. Like the short game Anthony's Essay, The Oracle uses real photographs as its locations. However, while Anthony's Essay was awkwardly cluttered and finding your way around proved difficult, The Oracle is easy to navigate thanks to clear markings of every exit.
The sound effects add a lot to the atmosphere too, especially the crunch of snow under shoes.

This demo is extremely short and the story only just gets going as it ends, but its sufficiently intriguing to make me look forward to a full length version.
