The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"Nice looking and well told game with some technical glitches and quite good puzzles."

8 people commented on this game (newest first):

I thought that the puzzles, pacing, and environment were good. For me, what detracted a bit from the game were the glitches and technical issues. For example, in one room, you can walk over things like tables and whatnot. It's not intuitive to close open menus. There's no save features. Also, having the characters' texts be different colors would be helpful. I still enjoyed the game even with those flaws for what it is.

The puzzles were fair and the story was OK.
It's visually charming and I like the small scale of the scenery.

This game looks lovely! Really nicely drawn characters and simple but very effective backgrounds.

I enjoyed the story with the simple step by step investigation and a happy ending too. :)

I enjoyed this game a lot. Everything fit together well, the graphics with a special touch and lovely, easy to immerse into the story. The puzzles were also logical and not too easy. Well done!

A mouse detective trying to solve a case where the cat is the suspect. What's not to like? This is a fun short animal mystery.

Gorgeous game. It made me feel like I was playing a book straight out of The Reading Rainbow. The only thing missing was the voice of Geordi La Forge (a.k.a LeVar Butron).

There were a few editing and technical issues, but overlooking those, this was a solid, solid entry for MAGS November, 2020.

Delightful characters in a delightful world... top notch!

Keep refining this game, and make a few more in this world. After all, a nice tire home is all the rage these days!

Absolutely adorable art on this one. Love the backgrounds, the characters, little touches like the "feather bed" made me laugh. Needs some cleaning up on dialogue punctuation, and walkable areas sometimes walked right over spots like the crime scene, or up onto walls/room objects, but just a minor issue. Enjoyable, cute game, I'd love to see more in this universe.
