The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

This now links to the new version, but those (like me) who also wants to play the old one, can find it at https://archive.org/details/quiero-morir-i-want-to-die

The story is the same, but the puzzles aren't, so I'd say it's worth to sample the old version as well. This one is a bit more difficult than the new version (easier if you play the new first).

It's still a good game.

Interesting premise and graphics, but puzzles, as dialogues, were a bit uninspired.

Definetely, a very good game. I think the story is one of the best I've ever seen. One of my favorites.

The worst thing that can be said about this game is that it's "above-par".

The best thing that can be said about this game is that it's "fun".

Solid gameplay, logical puzzles, a pixel-hunt here and there but nothing too extreme, a storyline that develops more than you'd expect (or maybe I was just in a bad mood, the best to be pleasantly surprised in)... that's basically what this game offers.

Oh, did I mention the best thing about it? It's fun to play. Despite what quirks it might have, this is a redeeming feature that makes it a worthwhile play.

If you can read Spanish, that is.

I can't play this thing as I don't speak spanish.
Looks good though.
People, please make a note if the game is not playable in English.
