AGS Engine | GUI | GUIControl.ZOrder property |
---|---|---|
Radiant | [s]Create a GUI button. Set its text to "JJggpq" and its font to a TTF font that is tall (e.g. anything that has long curves underneath the J and g). Set the text alignment to bottom, so that part of the text sticks below the bottom of the button. I would expect this part sticking out to obey the button's ClipImage setting. However, it does not: in the editor, the extra part is always shown, in the game it is never shown.[/s] In the editor, GUI objects have a Z order property, but this is read only. It would be nice if it were writable. | |
Radiant | This turns out to be an issue in the z-order of my controls. It would be nice if the z-order field in the editor wasn't read-only. | |
Crimson Wizard | I will open a related issue in Editor tracker, because the original question was about GUI editor. However, it is not less important to add GUIControl.ZOrder property to be read (at least) and written (if possible) in game script. | |
Crimson Wizard | Implemented in develop-3.3.1 branch, will be included into next release. | |
