AGS EditorSpritesAutomatic sprite replacement on import
RadiantIn earlier versions of AGS, when using the option to import multiple sprite files, if some of these sprites are named "SPR#####.*" where ##### is a number, then AGS will prompt to ask if these should overwrite the currently existing sprites with those numbers. For example, a file SPR00450.BMP would overwrite the sprite slot for #450.

In AGS 3.3, this no longer works. This functionality was very convenient and a huge time saver, please put it back!
Crimson WizardWell, this is not a bug, because it is not like the feature not working, it is simply not implemented in this Editor.

Regarding implementation, IMHO such thing would need well-thought design. Maybe not implement this blindly, but think of how it may integrate with other existing ways of importing/replacing sprites.

For example, "Replace from source(s)" command may already serve for similar purpose.
What if we make Editor check for the files imported and suggest replace the sprites that have matching source?
RadiantI don't know about other authors, but I don't usually keep sprite sources around. I consider them redundant, since I can already import/export everything from AGS at need. So the process I'm looking for (which works in earlier AGS editors) is 1.export a bunch of sprites from AGS to bitmap files in a new folder, 2.edit bitmap files or have an artist do that, 3.re-import bitmaps into AGS.
