Whoo! I hope I'm allowed to be here... viktor DID say I could do this one... Hmm.. I know something!
Draw me comic that is: famous writers stories converted to funny newspaper comics. Think of a fat lasagna loving cat reciting Shakespeare, or maybe a parrot saying "Nevermore" to his owners? You come up with your own idea. Remember, it's like a newspaper, so don't put a long pageworth of a comic. Newspaper funnies have generally 1 to 4 panels, so that's the restriction. (NOTE, If you want to, you can, but you don't have to use copyrighted characters like Garfield or Beetle Bailey or some other character. I was thinking you should just make your own generic characters, with the same newspaper comic effect.)

Now go crazy!

Geez, It's the 19th and no ones done anything ???? if it's all fair and well, I'm going to extend the deadline just a little bit, unless someone posts in the next day or so.

Then yield thee, coward,
And live to be the show and gaze o' the time:
We'll have thee, as our rarer monsters are,
Painted on a pole, and underwrit,
'Here may you see the tyrant.'

I will not yield,
To kiss the ground before young Malcolm's feet,
And to be baited with the rabble's curse.
Though Birnam wood be come to Dunsinane,
And thou opposed, being of no woman born,
Yet I will try the last. Before my body
I throw my warlike shield. Lay on, Macduff,
And damn'd be him that first cries, 'Hold, enough!

Heh heh. Good entries so far!
By the way, since I am the illiterate fool I am, I need to ask what source material Eggie's comic came from. (I will most likely smack my forehead and say DUH to myself afterwards but I do wish to know.)

IM NOT TEH SPAM

My guess is lord of the flies, based on the fat kid with glasses named piggy.
APPARENTLY IM ON A "TROLLING SPREE"

Goddamnit! It was supposed to be Oliver Twist!
Comeon , people. It's obvious!

Bluke4x4

It's time for J-J-J-J-J JUDGING!!!

jet

Funny comic. Made me laugh, and made me think of Prince Valiant (though that was clearly not what you were referencing).

kec

Good comic. I didn't understand it until I looked at it for a while, I'd suggest using a font and giving enough room to type the words. Nonetheless, an overall OK comic.

Eggie

I slap my forehead and say "DUH"...Times two. I have not read Lord of the Flies or Oliver Twist for about a year or two, and I should've remembered which is which. However, it is a good comic. I can actually imagine it on a newspaper comic page, which is what I was asking. And thus...

THE WINNER IS

EGGIE![/i][/u][/glow][/shadow][/size][/acronym]
