Reality Check(1) help needed

I have the hammer and the laptop in my inventory. I've gone back and tried talking to everyone. Tried using the laptop everywhere to go to IMDB, nothing works. Tried visiting every possible location. I'm completely stuck! Please help. Thanks.

Since no one has replied yet...

Interact with the laptop (right click) instead of looking/selecting it (left click). You can now choose what to do with the laptop. After closing it the story will continue.

Sorry I don't check this part of the forum. Unfortunately the first game was badly designed!
