Does AGS support .FON or .FNT fonts? I have been working on for outlines to one as a little hobby, and I thought if I could use that font as a speech font in my game. Could it be too difficult to implement support for these fonts if the are not allrady supported...
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

You can try taking a copy of the font, renaming it to a .TTF extension, and importing it into AGS - it works with some .FON files.

Other than that I'm afraid I don't know of a handy utility to render the fonts so I can't really support it. SCI and TTF should be enough :)

Finally found the thead...

I tested it out, and the fonts imported okay (renamed to .TTF) to the editor, but in the game they were invisible... Nothing shown, no errors... wierd..? :P

In case a google search landed you here, if you’ve extracted a Sierra SCI font and changing .fon to .ttf doesn’t work and changing “1807.fon” to “font.1807” (for example) doesn’t work then simply use Radients awesome program FontEdit. Load the .fon file and it’ll save as the AGS font format .wfn and it’ll work :)
