SUGGESTION- Gradual Tinting/Lighting

I was thinking that maybe to enhance the AGS lighting features that for every region, there can be a button you can check called Gradual Tinting/Lighting. Clicking this would show 3 boxes:

Red =
  • to [255]
    Green =
  • to [255]
    Blue =
  • to [255]

    And of course 255 being the limit, it would be changeable. And for lighting you could have another checkable box, and that would open two boxes:

    Min [-100] to Max [100]
    OR
    Min
  • to Max [200]

    Wouldn't something like this be better instead of using 3 to 4 regions for gradual lighting/tinting?

This seems like something that would be awfully easy to script. In fact, all the code for the gradual increas/decrease should be in that scaling module (I forget who made it, SSH most likely) that allowed diagonal scaling, you only need to pass light levels/color to the characters instead of the scales.
