Where to download AGS v2.71? (SOLVED)

hi,

i'm looking for a possibility to get a copy of version 2.7.1. the reason is, that I would like to develop adventures for win / linux and prob. mac, but for the current version there is no engine for linux or mac. the version of the engine for linux is currently 2.7.1...

i already gave 2.7.2 a try, but trying to run my adventure on linux all i get is:

This game requires a newer version of AGS (2.72). It cannot be run.Invalid file format. The file may be corrupt, or from a different version of AGS.

could one provide a download of 2.7.1 or mail me this version? or at least give me any advice what to do?

As you can see in its thread, v2.72 of the Linux engine should come soon:

I'm in Australia for a while, so I don't have access to my build system. Until I return to the USA, or I get access to my build machine again, the AGS Linux runtime won't be updated. I'm tentatively scheduled to return to the USA in mid August.

thanks alot. i'll give 2.7 a try. the link for 2.7.1 seems to be dead. i think 2.7 will work until the 2.7.2 for linux is released.
