Booked! 829 euros per two people. We will flight on 14th, but most of all will be just that, travelling... We'll have to sleep in the airport, or love ourselves all the night to spend the time. Nice plan.
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

2ma2

Hah, I've spent a whole year without excercise! But I still going to beat you despite of the greek sun and the fact that I'm bleeding more than Helm did!

YARRR!!

It looks like I'll go Polish ad travel with LOT. It's the heapest I've found anyway so far, Chrille, Andail, what company do you travel with?

Chrille

Cheaper than 3200? Poopsicles!!!

I booked my tickets off www.mrjet.se (or maybe it's .com). I travel with the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (fancy!). KL 1158 to Amsterdam and then switch to KL 1581 to Athens.

Well, since it's not exactly free to get to Gotheburg, I'll ponder carefully for a while, deciding which plane to catch. The Dutch flight is 50 SEK cheaper though, dunno if it's due to cancellation insurance..

EDIT: Huh, weren't you suppose to arrive very late in Athens? I can't find that flight so either it's allready full or I've misunderstood somerthing

Chrille

Well, not "very" late, but at 0.15 at least :)

Strange that you can't find it, try this url, it should be the first one in the list:

EDIT: Hmm, that linked worked one two different computers but not this one here at work, it just redirects me to the main website, maybe it doesn't work for you either. Anyway, just searched for flights from Gothenburg to Athens on the 14th of August and back on the 22nd. It should be the first one that pops up in the list, the ticket price is 3200.

Wohaaaa! As I didn't want to miss a minute, and my chances included in all the cases a late arrival to Athens, I reserved to arrive 22:00 on 14th. I guess I'll have to look for an inn, or something. I guess that there must be cheap "airport hotels", but dunno, it's Athens, and it's gonna be August. Anyone's going to spend the night of the 14th in Athens? Any info about cheap inns Helm? :)
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Chrille

There will be a gangbang at the airport for those who arrive early.

Strange.. last time I tried that, it posted afternoon flights..

Well I've booked now, I'll go with Polish airlines from Arlanda, and arrive at E. Venizelos at 02:20.. sorry Chrille, but it was a) cheaper and b) cheaper.

Anyone planing to travel with LOT from Warzaw around 22:40? ;)

Nacho

Eeeeeer... I don't have it clear... Chrille, do you travel on 14th to reach there at 0:15, 15 minutes after the 15th day of augost starts (which is called a 14+1 trip)?

If so, we can meeting earlier in the airport, that should be cool, wait for 2ma2, if he arrives at 2:00 and make a party. weeeeh!
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Chrille

I will be at the airport in Athens on the 15th at 0.15, we can meet up with the brits waiting there.

2ma2: bastard! I'll never forget this! Atleast not until me senility kicks in! ;)

Edited Custard... I am a little afraid about linking my flight Valencia-Munich Munich-Athens. I only have 1:05 minutes from the expected arrival of the flight from Valencia to the one departing to Athens. I fear that in an extraordinary busy day the flights from Valencia might be delayed and we lose our link. Does anybody have any info about that, what to do if that happens?

*EDIT* Ah! I've called to the company! They're linked flights and if one is delayed the other one will wait! I am so nervous!  ;D

Well, I'm not going to spend close to 2000 USD for just going to Mittens :) I'm sure it would be worth it, but it's much more worth it to also spend three days in the UK, three days in Athens,  a few hours in Geneva and then a week long Mittens! =^.^=

edmundito

Unfortunately, I can't go to any mittens-related activities this year, but I'd like to suggest that you guys should sit down at some point during that week and discuss how each of you work with AGS.

I think it was really interesting when we attempted to do the lost "Mittens Kwest (Or Eight Days a Septic)" in Mittens 04 and I could remember how Grundislav and Dave Gilbert worked with AGS differently. Then I came in and added some code that didn't work, which Chris Jones corrected (and actually got sort of confused on how AGS worked, as I recall).

The good thing about doing this is the following: 1) Other people improve and speed up their AGS-developing habits. 2) Opens a broader view on how to use AGS 3) Chris Jones learns how people use AGS by even seeing what they are doing and therefore improving the thing!

Oh, and someone bring a laptop!
