Like the title implies I'm looking for information on any adventure game any of you foke might know of that uses a blind protagonist or support character. My search hasn't produced much so far, just (sound activates sight) ecolocation stuff like "pulse" and  "Perception"

There's this game, Blindside I keep meaning to check out. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're on about but it's an audio game where you play as a blind person.

Not blindness per se, but not being able to see in a dark room and gameplay reflecting this:

Wages of Darkness

Babar

I made an hourgame called Witness! ages ago, that features a blind protagonist.

Be aware, though, it is an hourgame (i.e. made completely in 1 hour for a competition), so be sure to know what you're getting into (very low production values, very short game :D).

Now, with his very own game: Alien Time Zone

Buckethead

Beyond eyes fits your description very well I think:

In the game you can't see anything of the environment unless you touch it or there is sound.
