I can see it now (in IE), but can't add a flag. It says:
'Internet Explorer cannot open the site http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/aga/map.php?action=add.
Operation aborted.

Sweet Stuff! Good job Scotch/AGA....

I have a suggestion: Is it possible at the most zoomed out levels to have some kind of flag marking if there's any people in that country?  like there's like a lot of people in the UK, for example, but you don't know until you zoom in closer.

Domino

This is way better than the old map. I like how you can see the persons avatar above where their flag is. This rocks my socks.  :)

Hmm. Can't quite work out why that is. I'll see if CJ can work it out, it was him that got it to work with IE in the first place, him being a silly person too.

Reach for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Kneel. Now.

Never throw chicken at a Leprechaun.

You people are easily pleased!  Which is good.
I want to do something indicating where people are found at a far out zoom... I'm looking in to it.

Thanks for fixing the issues for IE users. And good luck getting the little points to be viewable as far out as can be seen.

I couldn't put myself on the moon. Stupid Google Moon.

- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

Doesn't seem to be working at the moment.  I wanted to see if any new flags were added.

scotch

Yes, thanks for pointing that out.  I know what is wrong with it now, I'll get AGA to update it when I see him.

Tiki

Out of curiousity, is there a way to delete one's flag, too?  Or is it limited only to moving?

Awesome! Good work - I just added myself.

EDIT: Why don't you change the link from the control panel at www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk at the right to go to www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/aga/map.php ?

scotch

If you die then we promise to remove your flag.

[...] I think that...in a sense, this map is still in BETA.  I think once they are ready they will make it the new official member map.  Not that I would know.  Just my thoughts.

DoorKnobHandle

Hmm... I don't see a reason for this map to be BETA, it seems to be quite stabile as well as working.

Anyways, as long as they're gonna include this again any time soon, that's fine...

Everything Google is beta ;)

Especially Gmail*. :=

It's still in /aga/ because scotch decided to go public with it before we were certain it was working perfectly and ready to go on the main site. Over-eager young scamp that he is.

scotch

Well it was working :P it just needed some beta testing, and still does, like we probably wouldn't have noticed the bug that broke it just then without a load of people entering data.
I think it works pretty well now, there are just a few enhancements that I'd like to make to make it run faster in IE, and to cit down the load on the server a bit.

I'm just surprised that Chris Jones opened himself up to certain Essebs being able to knock on his door.
