yeah, btw, I am really enjoying seeing everyones pictures, especially of 'The Days Before Scumm'. And I do have to say that everyones comments are especially funny. Right now, I'm laughing out loud at the comments which is causing ScubaChic to be a bit upset at me, seeing how its 1:34am and she's trying to sleep.
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

Hooray, you're all back! Looked like such fun, if only I had thousands of dollars to spare to fly to the US... Ah well.

So next year's Australia, eh? Make it Brisbane!

Las Naranjas

Preliminary plans [that is to say Layabout and I talking idly] place it somewhere on the North NSW coast, but it can be made Brisbane if Kinoko chooses to plan it :P

In anycase, the sheer number of Brisbanites compared to other capitals makes somewhere in the vicinity desirable. But Byron or Coffs would be slightly cheaper.

Hah.Ã,  My buddy Kim will be happy to know she is now famous among AGSers.Ã,  She told me later that you all seemed like a "nice, laid back group of folks."Ã,  She would have hung out longer if she didn't have to run off.Ã,  Anyrate, nice pics, CJ.

Wherever it is in Australia next year... I shall be there. Prepare yourselves...

But lets not take away from the fun the guys had this year! Next year can be talked about later, methinks. How about a day-by-day listing of what went on! The drama, the intrigue, the fun, the laughter... you know...

Rincewind

Hey, look like you had some loads of fun this year as well... :D
Damn, I regret I couldn't be there... Oh well, can't win them all. Or any of them, come to think of it.

Hehe, but no picture of m0ds and a plate of milk this year?

Andail

Finally home, after an absurd amount of hours' travelling.

I just sleep now, and return when I've slept and eaten and all.

It was amazing, that's all I'll say for now

Aye, and it's fairer to others to at least have it somewhere on the boarder. Besides, I think Brisbanites should leave Brisbane one and awhile and go exploring.

Plus, it gives a chance for a great tradition... THE ROAD TRIP!

Hopefully the next Mittens in America will be soon 0_o
You. Me. Denny's.

Fabiano

eh. come to brazil people. I promise a cabin full of girls food
:)
Yeah, yeah, It happens. A lot.

MrColossal

Well, that's that then!

Mittens is totally over with, everyone has gone home and everything has been cleaned up. The septic tank has been fixed and the door has a new lock and the sofa has been fixed...

It's like you guys were never there.

Well, except for Petter's underwear he left, Dave Gilbert's sock and Francisco's white zipper sweatshirt and the 300 pounds of food you left! Good lord! Sadly I was only strong enough to carry 100 pounds back to my wagon...

Other than that you all know how much fun I had and how awesome it was and it was terribly sad to see you all leave. If it wasn't for the thousands of miles of water and continents between us I'd hang out with you every wednesday... Until you told me to stop because I was frightening the neighbors.

and now the pictures:

enjoy!

featuring, of course, lots of product placement :D

m0ds

LOL, mad pictures so far - loving them all. Mine along with other pics like, Brittens, are almost ready :D I think I left my "Phat Bastard" hoodie somewhere lol, possibly the room I stayed in in the camp, hanging by the door. And I believe I also left my shades at Dave Gilbert's apartment. LOL. Not fussed about the hoodie, but the shades... :p  8)

Timosity

I can't believe it's been and gone and I didn't even notice anyone was missing, and now you're all back in your respective homes.

I haven't posted or browsed that much lately.

All the photos are great, one obvious standout was the rubix one, the linking of the onion rings.

Well looks like a great time was had by all, and the location looked spectacular (and I'm sure it still does)

I didn't want to bring up any future mittens, but just out of interest, if it was in the Southern Hemisphere would people still want it in June/July (middle of winter [just like an English summer]) or maybe spring? Sep-Nov

Privateer Puddin'

Easter? otherwise the traditional mittens 'summer' time (july) i would have thought, best to get it sorted rather quickly as money has to be saved :)

Kinoko

If this year is anything to go by, Winter over here CAN be really cold. Of course it's not as bad as what you guys'd probably get with snow and whatnot, but this year drove me mad... Still, I'm a wimp for cold :)

Layabout

Yeah! Bring em over in the 45 degree summer.. Then those brits will suffer!!!!

Finally, back on the track...the last few days have been weird, and I've slept intermittently and on unusual hours.

Mittens 2004 Electric Boogaloo was a great event, thanks to Eric for hosting it, he did almost as good a job as I did in 2003. Thanks also to Dave for putting up with me an additional day and night, his touring was great and I didn't want to leave so soon.

I've browsed the pictures, and I guess no event so far in history as been this well documented; more or less every minute is covered. The last supper picture should almost go in the front page of the AGS homepage, it's completely awesome.

Some highlights:
1. Bonfire with mashmallows and guitar and an extraordinary night sky by the lake
2. Dodge ball
3. The ultimate GTD ala Eric's punch verb
4. The Jet Ski ride
5. May-lay water polo
6. Illegal drinking in Saratoga
7. Sharing bed with Mark
8. Beating Fransisco in various Atari games one extremely late night
9. New York sightseeing
10. New York nightlife with Dave's homosexual karioke crew

and a hundred other happenings...
