Come on then, spill the beans... Who's making some Christmas shiz? I am, it's first person and it's crap but i'll have you know there was still some worthy rendering time involved. Tell us about your Xmas projects, if you have any, and post some screenshots! I will too but I need to wait for the alcohol to wear off first.

If anyone's willing to team up with me to do code and level design while I handle graphics and game-text then I have a hunch we could get a pretty frigging slick sleigh-based R-type clone out the door by the 25th.

Otherwise I'll probably just... I dunno... draw one of my characters in a Santa-hat or something lame like that.

At the risk of bringing this thread back on topic, I have a Christmas game in the works. It won't come out until next Christmas, but I've already started working on the stealth code that it will require (think something along the lines of the sneaking sequences of the original NES Metal Gear).

It's called Santa's Little Helpers and will star The Chief, Debbie, and Mayor DuChamp, plus a bunch of student radicals and some angry housewives.

Who wants to sit on Santa's lap!

This is a rough of what the menu screen may look like. It's just a felt tip marker on some copy paper, but I like how it came together. For the real version, I'll actually sketch it out in pencil first before putting ink straight to paper. But this is a good start, I think.

Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a great Christmas. I'm about to hit the road for a few weeks of well-deserved vacation. I'll be back after New Year.

Hope Santa leaves presents for all of you!
