One of the things that annoys any AGS game creator is music. Not the musicÃ,  in itself but adding it to a game. There are basically three options, make it yourself, which requires extreme talent IMHO, get something off the internet with all the moral implications there in, or beg plead, and promise slavehood to some composer. But wouldn't it be nice if we had a music generator like the have the walkcycle, but a music generator would be nice.

This paper is about such a software, and though it probably does not work with windows, its a great idea, maybee some einstien can make a modual that does the same thing.
[edit]

There's some pretty advanced music generation software out there already.

For instant cheesy little ditties try Band-In-A-Box: http://www.pgmusic.com/bandbox.htm
I used it to write the basic tunes here: http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists/View.aspx?artistid=1263

"Ambient" music, Koan Pro is very good: http://www.sseyo.com/products/koanpro/index.html

I still don't think these are replacements for composers though, and there's plenty of them around on the forums looking for work.
