I have you ever played" Beneath A Steel Sky?" Would you happen to know where I could find another game like this from the developer? I think  its one hell of a game and I thought maybe the creator had come up with part 2 or something. Let me know.

Also Desimaui, Broken Sword is a great series. I would say it is better than BASS. There are two good games (the first two) and another two terrible games.

While there are some interesting ideas are in there, there's a lot that could have been done better, espeically the 3d stuff.

Better go with the orignal first two, they're going real cheap these days, but are still brilliant.

Try Infinity String (freeware), Technobabylon I, II, III (freeware) and Gemini Rue (commercial, but there's a demo). They all could have been made specifically with fans of Beneath A Steel Sky in mind, so you should enjoy them as well.

Also, play the Blade Runner adventure game.  It's brilliant.  It's set in the same world as the movie, and even uses the same locations, but it's a totally seperate storyline.

I'd also highly recommend Broken Sword (even the 3rd one) and Blade Runner. In a very different tone, Lure of the Temptress (also by revolution software, also free) has similar gameplay because of the virtual theatre system allowing characters to walk around on their own.

But I must also warn you not to try Broken Sword 2.5 first. It's a fan tribute that's been made with love, but it has some of the worst plotting and puzzles I've seen in an adventure game.

(And on a pedantic note, it takes place in a very poorly researched version of York, featuring York Airport and an underground metro system. This is about the same as giving it a stargate.)

Agreed - 2.5 is as ridiculous as its title. And the love that went into making it is questionable too. The game's creators made such blatant mistakes in the main characters' backstories as making Nico's mother alive.
