AGA, or anyone else, would it be possible to get a lift from Heathrow to somewhere Oxfordy on the way home? I'd be most greatul otherwise I'll be stuck at Heathrow!!

Also, I can't gurantee there'll actually be any FoY stuff, sorry.

oh yea, everyone should bring something, something small that we can put on a shelf in my camp, my camp is like made of crap that washed up on the beach and bought at garage sales and such, we'll make a mittens wall

well, i know i wont be able to bring a laptop. bummer. and now i may not be able to come. probably will though, its looking like i wont get the job with ea games for the fall, but if i did, they would want me to start on monday... but with how much ive been looking forward to this, i would probably drive up from maryland just to see you all for two days. itd be worth it.. lotta gas though. i was thinking i would leave between about 6-8 am tomorrow morning, and its an 8 hour drive... hmm, maybe ill see about leaving earlier.

looks like ill have to wait till sunday to leave, im sorry you probably wont get this... so maybe ill just make a surprise visit on sunday.

btw, i would be just running tournaments at colleges in maryland, so it wouldn't really matter that its ea games, not that i have anything against ea. Im actually very excited to start this job. its much much better than working at my resturant another year

Early status report of Mittens:

I had a problem waking up this morning (actually, I was dreaming about being in Mittens when I realized that something was not right in the dream), and my driver thought I was leaving in the P.M. instead of A.M. so I ended up missing my flight. Since it was a minor airport, they booked me for Monday (missing 2 days! :'(), and that's when I' m going.

I called the Mittens site to let them know what happened, and I asked for a status report. It looks like everyone got there at 5 AM due to delayed flights and distances between the airport and the camp site. Looks like Mittens started on a big sleep-a-thon!

Most of the people there are Europeans... man, we worked so hard to bring the event to this continent, and no American is going. Come on, guys! show your support... $:-\$

I'm going back to sleep.. maybe I' ll magically wake up on monday and go to mittens

Well, I'm American and I hope to be at Mittens later on. I took ill earlier this week, and it seems to have gotten full blown, and now settling down. I hope to at least make it for a few days.
