In this thread, we discussed the idea of putting neat little icons in either our signiture, or somewhere near our name, to help others find those who are willing to help.

I think it was a good idea. Yes, I believe in the Classified thread we have now, but I think the little icons [lost to the internet] should be brought back as well.

I'm gonna have a go at guessing what those icons are... okay, from left to right:

1 - Dialogs
2 - Programmer or Guy who wastes time on IRC?
3 - Guy with a Sword

4 - Musician
5 - BG Artist
6 - Sprite Artist
7 - Animator
8 - Researcher / Detective

9 - A sad person who enjoys reading Binary?
10 - Story Guy... $:-\$

We'll need a reliable server to use so the pictures aren't always red x's.

But I like the icons, definitely will put some in my sig.

Or even do it properly and put:

or even both:

except, we use BBCode on the forums, so it would probably require CJ to hack around with the YabbSE setup to get that working, as BBCode doesn't have alt or title tags for images AFAIK

I believe sig length is rather limited; if you wanted to display two or three icons with tooltips and alt-texts, I doubt it would fit.
