Hey guys,

Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the latest AGS ezine (especially the FOY pics) and I have a quick question.
Maybe it's presumptious of me, but I was wondering if the next ezine could have a review of Apprentice...

Walter: Today, Helm was found half naked in a barn shouting "VIVA LA QUESRICO!!" We aren't sure what this means as our spanish is limited to 'LA' but I asure you our top men are on it.

I am Spanish... I don´t have any idea of what does Quesrico mean.  ???
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Sylpher, actually my main argument agains it is that such e-zines tend to wither and die after a not-too-long period. I think that one "uber" e-zine will not just live long but also be of higher quality then several ones.
Hell, maybe it's just me and Nacho....

Well, anyway, nice work the two of you.

I prefer a website :)

you don't have to download anything, which is a pre, which comes to my next point...

why the heck are the pdf's zipped...? It takes away the whole functionality :P

unzip them damnit! :), now you still have to download em.
Anyway, I never feel like reading so many text... so I mostly look at the pictures :P

I think it's good that there are two ezines. Apart from anything else, with a potential reader base of 1110 (note the very loose use of the word potential), and the vast variety of things that now go on in the ags world, neither 'zine need never run out of material nor readers.

And of course, competition is always better than a monopoly for consumers, even if here we have no real competition, or consumers, or in fact an economic system of any kind... MY POINT STILL HOLDS DAMMIT! :P

Vel

umm... big bro, the new ags ezine is released

big brother

Hi Vel,

Yea, I know the new ezine has been released. I was talking about maybe for the next issue of it. (If there is going to be a next issue?)

Thanks

That's the point: there IS an Apprentice review in the latest ezine

Sylpher

Yeah, I admit it...I made up 'Quesrico'. Let's just say it means something big and burely just to be fun!

Again I stand by only time will tell...we will just have to see what happends.

Lgm: Peace...

As the functionality of PDF lies in being a platform-free document, they haven't lost their function. True, you need an unzipper to view it now, but there are few alternative OS'es out there who yelp in frustration at the sight of one.

Even BeOS can read the E-Zine's perfectly well.

And I kinda like it that they're zipped, personally. I hate it when I'm browsing in Windows and click on a PDF document, to find it's opening it directly in Acrobat. Slows the whole system down. :)

big brother

Hey guys,

Sorry about that. Didn't see that there was a new ezine up. Good stuff!
85%!
This is good, no?
