Hi, I intend to add my game to the database but I wanted to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules about profanity since the title of the game contains a swear word: "Shitty Quest". Should I perhaps censor that i.e. "Sh***y Quest" or something?

Thanks. By the way it's better than it sounds :)

Andail

No, we don't have that kind of censorship here.
Well, maybe if the title had featured the n-word or something truly offensive, but for "shitty", no problem.

JimMakesGames

Ah excellent. Thanks very much for your prompt response :)

I speak from experience that it'll get you some strange looks, but it's not outright taboo.

Hehe, not forgetting that your game is now called "The Perfidious Petrol Station" by distributors who clearly want to avoid the word "whore"! I've seen some quotes of news I've sent out and the bits about Nancy have been missed out. So I guess commercially, don't put rude words in a title :P

Now, with his very own game: Alien Time Zone

Trapezoid

"Don't Shit Your Pants" is one of the all-time greatest adventure games, so I see no problem.
