SSH, the title "What do you think about the Cosmos Quest games?" is not correct. When you put an answer "Not played, but Harg is a numpty" which will be the winner (I'm sure), you have to change the title to "What do you think about Harg and his Cosmos Quest games?"

From 2 days there is a post in "games in production" (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?board=8.0) about a wonderful game with great graphics. You should ask yourself, why you post more in my thread. Go and support this game. Or maybe you prefer to eat me than to support him. I remember there was a time when I was on his place.

Anyways- even if the panel gives you a low rating there is also the community rating... I'm sure McDonalds woulds get a Michelin star (Critic Review) but they probably rate pretty high in the Zagat review (Populist Review.)

If you are so interested in what I'm doing... I'm watching chess (world championship). I don't use Bryce. Cosmos Quest rating in Reloaded is just fine...

You really should start using Bryce, it's probably one of the most accessible 3D Generators available; especially for landscapes and simple geometry.

I started to use 3dStudioMax. Actually I'm using Bryce only for sky. Its really very good for that.

I never could wrap my head around 3D programs very well. Z-Brush, Maya, 3D Studio, Blender; I'm trying, but I guess my brain just isn't used to working like that.

It's not that complex. Try it. You can make a room with 3dstudiomax in few hours. Then use photoshop to add some details.

Harg, your game is awesome. The problem seems to be that people just dont realise it yet.

Here's what i suggest:

Firstly you need to complain ALOT.. people will find it endearing and love your open, honest nature. That's sure to make you game better by at least 1 cup.

Secondly you need to make sure that you remove your game from anywhere which is staffed by uneducated philistines that dont see how great you are. It's their fault not yours.

Thirdly you need to keep raising the point over and over again, even if the discussion has died down. It only SEEMS like no one gives a shit, in fact people lie awake at night wondering about the glory of the great Cosmos Quest franchise.

Forthly, If people do criticise you, just put it down to jealousy.

Lastly I suggest you get your mum to put all your drawings on the fridge and get her to tell you how amazing you are on a daily basis. Because we all know its true.
